They still contributed to the problem (you know, the problem of bumping so many threads at once it unfairly pushes everyone else off the front page), especially the duplicate threads. I don't really care if this guy hasn't been online in month or if they were online as I saw that. They're getting suspended.

Rep though is to be used to judge if a traders trustworthy, giving keys out free for rep distorts that system so really is looked down upon because you havent done the hard work to earn your rep.

If someone just gives out keys for rep you still wouldnt know how trustworthy they were ? With DOTA2 CS:GO people are selling them or trading them so you get an accurate rep of how trustworthy they are to trade with.

Two things wrong about all this "two threads per user":
1 You cant find anything in this trading site. Becouse all threads consist bunch of games, so you have to watch every thread to find game you want and price you want.
2 You cant close all threads you have becouse you cant check what thread youve opened on your profile or anywhere else.
If you want a game why would you not have a thread saying (W) whatever game ? Then people come to you, easy ;)
Also old threads dont matter as long as they are not being bumped just close them if you see them going to the front page :)

Omg because they are a duplicate both offering same games which is against the rules. I thought the OP made it pretty clear it was no tolerance and bans would be handed out ;) If she would have split the games into 2 posts though not duplicating them she would have been fine so maybe Jade will reinstate her and she can change the threads so they dont have the same games.
I think you need to count number of letters in each title... she would have a hard time putting everything in one line inside 100 letters limit...
She wanted to have 2 threads just because in one thread she wanted offers and in others specifically Borderlands 2.
Check this out, the thread with Borderlands 2 has exactly 100 letters. Just inside the limit. The other one has 73 letters, she wanted to make it more visible so she split into two threads.
Please, unban.
I know what she wanted, but the plain fact is she cant. So maybe highlight a couple of games like "Left 4 Dead 2, Red Faction & more" or "lots of games" i mean come on its common sense. Im not trying to get anyone banned people are getting themselves banned by not following simple rules ;) If it is your brother then tell him trading games is ok but you also have to follow the rules and etiquette of the site. Whats the point of a ban if then a different account is then used to access the site and trade ? Funny how the only rep you have is from the last 6 days also you say your account is worth $100 but lets face it its indie bundles and keys that were exploited and created a month ago ;) Even if you are his brother you shouldnt be allowing your account to be used by someone thats suspended anyway.

About you being marked as a scammer. "The issue has been talked to admins and Yatterman." That doesn't help anyone trying to figure it out in the future if you talked in PMs, since those aren't on record.
Well ask him. And I didn't talk with PMs I talked on a thread here. It was one of those scam report threads of Yatterman that keeps getting deleted but I'm sure you can find it in your archive.
Please, just open a ticket, explain the situation in detail and close it again. I've been suspending a few people because of their SR status, so if I see an explanation in your tickets, I won't ban. If I don't, which I don't in yours, you may get banned down the line, at which point, you'll have to explain it anyway to the new mods.

Aren't you all fed up with sights like this becoming more and more common? So am I. Therefore, this is a warning. Do not open or leave open more than two trading threads at once, especially for the same thing. Do not "invisibly" bump your thread every two minutes. I have begun suspending and I am not giving you just a light slap on the wrist for this amount of spam. Now, I'm more of an SG mod, I'm not good with STrades, so, please, feel free to point me towards anyone who needs it, preferably with evidence. Might as well use this thread for it. This is going to stop.
Update: This problem should never have been allowed to get to this point (and I likely would have been okay with it if the bumps were at least staggered rather than bumping six threads at once), so I'm probably going to seem overly harsh to some of you, cracking down on everything severely. Now that this is stickied, I'll give everyone a grace period of twenty-four hours (until 7:30 PM UTC, 7th) to reorganise their threads and close down any duplicates. After that, I will begin to suspend without warning.

Update 2: After a talk with Yatterman, two trading threads is now acceptable, as long as they are not identical.
Update 3: Just found a nifty bug(?) on the site that'll let me close the offending threads without officially having any powers on Strades. Feel free to link the threads in future and I'll close them too.
Update 4: As some may already know, my activity will drop massively as of right now. I'll still be dealing with SteamTrades stuff whenever I can, but expect me to be a little slow on it.
