+1.
I've just replied in one of his topics telling him the rules and this is his answer:
http://www.steamtrades.com/trade/0k0XY/h-encore-sale-final-deals-w-keys
Yea well to be fair, only allowing 2 topics is definitely too restrictive, especially since the search function does not search the body of a post and only the title (which has a very limited number of characters/space), therefore making it impossible to advertise very many things in a way that will actually show up in a search and be seen by others. Not to mention that the 'rule' in question is essentially 2+ years old and therefore antiquated and obsolete because it was never further adjusted to reflect the changing needs of the legitimate traders who use this site. I mean there there is a reason why rules and laws are amended in real life. But one reason why it was never adjusted is because this site was abandoned by any staff/moderators long ago, so to some extent this entire thread is pointless (and arguably just an act of spam in and of itself). Practically speaking, it is a waste of time.
Got some good news regarding that, I created a thread on SGv2 a while back asking CG to increase size of the [H] and [W] sections in threads (in SGv2) and he agreed to extend them both to avoid having the same problem we're having now regarding visibility on ST.
That was a good thought by you and it is a reasonable start, but that in and of itself is not enough. Especially for those that have many games to either trade away or to seek. More useful/powerful search functions are needed, including being able to search the main body of a trader's post. Some more advanced filters would be nice too.
Oh and regarding that news, how long has been SGv2 been rumored/promised now? Almost a year, if not longer? So you'll understand if I remain highly skeptical and have serious doubts as to whether it will actually ever happen. As far as I am concerned it's looking increasingly like vaporware at this point.
Oh don't get me wrong, i'm right there with ya on that.
My thread included a poll asking if people would favor a better search tool to search thread bodies or the simple fix of extending those sections yet of the people using steamsocial at the time maybe 5 or so even bothered to vote so i'm guessing CG opted for the easy choice due to the lack of interest shown back then.
And yeah, I hoped it'd be up by now, or at least some kind of thread indicating when it'll go up but steamsocial does give a message "Moving SGv1 data. We'll be back in a week." which makes it sound like it'll finally be up and running with all the data and finally make the transition but who knows, might as well be nothing.
Guess all we can do in the end is hope that there's some improvement before everything just collapses on itself it's become rather obvious as of late that barely anyone still actively "trades" on ST, just a few sales here and there, I honestly can't remember the last time I got an offer for a bundle game or even bothered to look for one.

LOL REALLY?
A fucking scam link in the scammer report thread?
GG random scammer, GG.
For what it's worth it could have been done by virus/malware without their knowledge.
Right, honestly hadn't considered that option since it always used to happen in the comments on steam, but since I've seen multiple of these comments starting today i'm guessing you're right and these are all hijacked accounts since all had 0 rep yet upon closer look they did not seem like obvious spam accounts just some random accounts with some normal games that have been played.

Okay now this is what legitimate spam looks like.
NOT the "OMG the user has 3 threads open instead of 2" bullshit that you usually see from the spam nazi sphincters in here who insist on blindy following some outdated and antiquated 'rule' from The Dark Ages, rather than the spirit of what it was meant for.
Case in point: Posts like the one just after this one

Edit:
Hooray! Thanks for automated trade thread count regulation.
Aren't you all fed up with sights like this becoming more and more common? So am I. Therefore, this is a warning. Do not open or leave open more than two trading threads at once, especially for the same thing. Do not "invisibly" bump your thread every two minutes. I have begun suspending and I am not giving you just a light slap on the wrist for this amount of spam. Now, I'm more of an SG mod, I'm not good with STrades, so, please, feel free to point me towards anyone who needs it, preferably with evidence. Might as well use this thread for it. This is going to stop.
Update: This problem should never have been allowed to get to this point (and I likely would have been okay with it if the bumps were at least staggered rather than bumping six threads at once), so I'm probably going to seem overly harsh to some of you, cracking down on everything severely. Now that this is stickied, I'll give everyone a grace period of twenty-four hours (until 7:30 PM UTC, 7th) to reorganise their threads and close down any duplicates. After that, I will begin to suspend without warning.
Edit: Time's up. Suspensions begin now.
Update 2: After a talk with Yatterman, two trading threads is now acceptable, as long as they are not identical.
Update 3: Just found a nifty bug(?) on the site that'll let me close the offending threads without officially having any powers on Strades. Feel free to link the threads in future and I'll close them too.
Update 4: As some may already know, my activity will drop massively as of right now. I'll still be dealing with SteamTrades stuff whenever I can, but expect me to be a little slow on it.
