Being new here, I had no idea how trading works - never used TF2 keys before. Basically I sent him some TF2 keys, he then sent me a fake Steam code and logged off immediately. Then blocked me of course.

This user/or/impersonator of Adziej a thief, stole 43$ from us! he added me on a request for AC4 and BF4 that I made and offered them both for $43 Paypal. I accepted and got a good mate to join us to finish the trade since I do not have paypal. Right after we paid him he said he was getting the keys and disappears from chat and removes us both. Complaints will be sent all around and the paypal transaction blocked. Beware of this thieving bastard!

Yes he gave me false account of Adziej, I didn't know he was an impersonator obviously, but I can see he scammed 4-5 people and he's not blocked.

This scammer has stolen a Surgeon Simulator gift from me. Since he didnt want to go first i suggested a Middleman. He then impersonated another Steamtrades User to whom i traded the game. Then he gave a Key which gave me the error Duplicate CD Key. He insisted that it was region locked but wouldnt trade me back my game. After I gave him a negative rep he also gave me one and said he would hack my steam account. Is it possible to remove the false rep from my account? have 2 false reps, one of them I used steam gifts support. 4 weeks and no response, just an open ticket, I submitted a second one and closed the first. I hope the second one actually gets some replies or some action taken to remove these false reps. It's unfair that you have no real recourse when people give you negative rep, giving them "revenge rep" can see you getting suspended as well.
I'm really curious what is being done, it makes trading hard when people see I have 2 negative reps, they don't bother to investigate where the negatives come from just that I have them, also leaves me open for being scammed as scammers even low rep ones can request you go first because of the negatives. Support for getting them removed seems to be dead, so I just have to wear this unearned badge of shame it would seem.

I confirm this situation. He was impersonating me for about 4 weeks. Now he changed his target on greenmaximo. By the way, can you check my 1 negative reputation too? I don't know this guy. He claimed me for giving him not working code, which is obviously wrong because i'm trading gifts only.
So my guess is what this guy was scammed by impersonator.
I wrote him in steam to clear the situation, but he's offline more than 7 hours.

This user recently gave me a negative rep after I had given it to them. I gave them a negative because after i refused their offer, they decided to go out of their way and call me bad names using their native tongue and just being overall rude. And both of my negatives there are both "revenge" reps and it would be nice if I can have them removed

My problems are nothing compared to these, but here goes.
Basically I have 2 random negative reps from two people whom I've never even contacted on steam or anywhere else. One claims I stole his CoD Ghosts (why would anybody want to steal that game) and the other just said "Noob Trader". I can show my trade history if necessary to prove I have never traded with these people. To further prove the point, I don't even have CoD Ghosts in my inventory lol. Anyway, do whatever is necessary.

On impersonators
There has been quite the rise in impersonators around here lately and more and more people seem to fall for their scams. It has been suggested that there should be a post concerning the subject, in order to prevent users from getting scammed, however considering that ST is not actively moderated, we wouldn't be able to maintain such a topic currently. The warning about this subject is more on how to avoid or handle such scams.
Please make sure the ST profile being linked from the person adding you, actually belongs to them. Verify that their steam profile URL is the same as the one who added you to trade and obviously, please search for them on steamrep, don't ask them to link their profile/rep, just do it yourselves.
In the case of such a scam occuring, please report them to steamrep and SG support, by providing some proof of what happened and explaining any details (please attach screenshots of your chatlogs and their steam profile). Creating a thread on SG forums in not the way to go, as that will get you temporarily suspended for calling out. There have been incidents of the wrong person getting blamed for a scam and thus harassed for absolutely no reason.
On feedback
Misuse of feedback has been turning out to be quite an issue, not only with messing up trades but also with reports on support about its removal. I think that most users are not aware of how it should be used thus this thread will serve as a reminder and a warning on how it should be used, how it shouldn't be used and what will happen if it's not used accordingly.

Common sense should apply in the above. The fact that I didn't mention a specific comment does not mean that it's acceptable. Misuse of feedback can get you suspended temporarily and if done repeatedly, suspension can get permanent. Revenge feedback, in particular, is especially tricky considering a lot of people want negative reputation removed from their profiles. If the people requesting the removal of negative rep from support have left such revenge negative feedback on the other user's profile, they can get temporarily suspended as well. Giving them revenge feedback does not make you any better than them.
Considering all the above, I would like to ask users here to remove any feedback they have left on other people's profiles that does not follow the guidelines above. Any investigation done on the removal of negative feedback from now on will take this thread into account and the fact that everyone should have read it and complied with it. No appeals will be handled for temporary misuse of feedback suspensions, considering you had the time to remove it yourselves.
