I wrote support nearly 2 months ago. Nothing happened.
The user put a negative on my profile because he says I am a user from another website with a different username.
Thing is, me and this fool have never traded before, never communicated before, never did anything before. He just came up and added a negative and broke the rules. He doesn't even use SteamTrades, his friend gave him a +1.
THe issue should be dealt with. Some people ignore me due to me having low trade amounts with a negative feedback.

The user jaromir left me negative rep just because I didn't add him on steam to trade with.
I've never done any trade with him, ever, but because I didn't add him or repplied to his post after a day on my thread he simply decided to leave me negative rep.
I have had 149 flawless Positive rep since joining Steam trades and will do anything to keep it that way.
So since this user has clearly abused and used inappropriate negative feedback because I simply didn't reply to him within one day I'd appreciate if you can remove his negative and also probably given him some warning as it is quite frustrating to deal with people like that who think they can simply ignore the rules.

I had a conversation with him. At first the chat was smooth and then he started to talk about how bogysha was his alt account but he couldn't log into it. He said I needed to trade with him through that account.
Please be warned he will add you through the steam forums, that is where he attempted to scam me.

I opened a request and bumped it 3x, but this was a few months ago. I highly doubt yours will ever be removed. As you can see, he's been doing it for about a year..
I do not mind if I ever get taken action against. I will leave a neg rep and warn other users to not deal with the user. After a month of having neg rep and not putting anything on the abuser, some people avoid you. Of course, you have 736 positive, so that would probably not bother you if users look at the abuser.

I was recently randomly added by someone I never made a reply to. I think they saw one of my comments in a ST tread and added me on a whim. I accepted the friend request because I thought it was someone I replied to but it wasn't. When I asked to see a steamtrades profile he provided it and after I stated I did not wish to trade with someone who had no reputation (0/0) at the time he became angry and gave me a (-neg) rep because of it. I asked him to remove it on his steam profile comment section but he deleted it.

How long does it usually take for someone to remove bad feedback? I've had two negative feedbacks from traders who were just pissy and rude and gave negative comments as petty revenge and it's been over a week since I sent in the support ticket to steamgifts.

Recently a scammer / impersonator left a fake feedback on my trade profile with the content "lol". I did not trade with him, nor did I add him for the reason that his steam profile contains a link claiming another trader's steamtrades feedback page his own.
The scammer is Givik, impersonating Bigshrimp.

On impersonators
There has been quite the rise in impersonators around here lately and more and more people seem to fall for their scams. It has been suggested that there should be a post concerning the subject, in order to prevent users from getting scammed, however considering that ST is not actively moderated, we wouldn't be able to maintain such a topic currently. The warning about this subject is more on how to avoid or handle such scams.
Please make sure the ST profile being linked from the person adding you, actually belongs to them. Verify that their steam profile URL is the same as the one who added you to trade and obviously, please search for them on steamrep, don't ask them to link their profile/rep, just do it yourselves.
In the case of such a scam occuring, please report them to steamrep and SG support, by providing some proof of what happened and explaining any details (please attach screenshots of your chatlogs and their steam profile). Creating a thread on SG forums in not the way to go, as that will get you temporarily suspended for calling out. There have been incidents of the wrong person getting blamed for a scam and thus harassed for absolutely no reason.
On feedback
Misuse of feedback has been turning out to be quite an issue, not only with messing up trades but also with reports on support about its removal. I think that most users are not aware of how it should be used thus this thread will serve as a reminder and a warning on how it should be used, how it shouldn't be used and what will happen if it's not used accordingly.

Common sense should apply in the above. The fact that I didn't mention a specific comment does not mean that it's acceptable. Misuse of feedback can get you suspended temporarily and if done repeatedly, suspension can get permanent. Revenge feedback, in particular, is especially tricky considering a lot of people want negative reputation removed from their profiles. If the people requesting the removal of negative rep from support have left such revenge negative feedback on the other user's profile, they can get temporarily suspended as well. Giving them revenge feedback does not make you any better than them.
Considering all the above, I would like to ask users here to remove any feedback they have left on other people's profiles that does not follow the guidelines above. Any investigation done on the removal of negative feedback from now on will take this thread into account and the fact that everyone should have read it and complied with it. No appeals will be handled for temporary misuse of feedback suspensions, considering you had the time to remove it yourselves.
