Well, I've read that he's the owner of 2 Steam accounts and one of them was used to scam. He couldn't prove that he's not guilty and Steamrep admin refused his request to delete scammer tag. I don't know him, maybe he is trusty, but as you can see it's not that simple with all other people. I wonder what's your story about that tag...

He tried to appear like he was asky929; the problem is that i closed the chatbox with the messages from him, so I can't prove that he is a scammer. Anyway, I reported him on steam, so be careful if he approaches you with any trade. I'm sorry about this and I hope he gets banned :)

Two to report, my own fault but would hate to see others fall prey. Neither were on the scammer list
First was a guy who changed his steam name to n00b21 and sent me that steamtrades page. This user has a very high positive score. He also changed his steam profile picture to that of this steamtrades user's steam page. It's my own fault for not noticing it. Don't have a screenshot, as I had to restart steam since it happened, but if others notice here's his page. On steamrep it says he's fine.

Send a ticket to Steam Support, yours was tradeable so I think you can get it back. Plus why would you go first if he had a key?

....was it your first trade? If so just know in the future, Tradeable is worth more than key, and when the other person has less, equal, or close rep than you, they should go first.

You can file a report on steamrep. I'm gonna talk to the head admin and see if we can add a feature that allows people to add notes to their own profile for situations like this.

This guy added me and wanted to trade for my CS:GO beta, so he offers me some paypal money. I tell him no, mainly because i don't have paypal and i'm not interested in trading games for money either. Then he tells me to look amazon so he can get me games from there, he makes up he's russian and he can't use paypal from there (I know it's true, but he might have not been russian).
I tell him that i just want some steam games, so i'll allow him transfer the money to my friend's paypal and i'll give him the game. I allow him go first because he has like 10 pages (literally) of +rep comments and stuff.
After i gave him CS:GO, he deleted me and blocked me on his friends list.
I quickly restarted steam to see if it just went down, but nope, he actually blocked me. Added him with an alter account i had, nothing.
The only proof that i have is the inventory history, and i also took a photo to some of his ''Nicknames'', as you can see, he used a few different nicknames, so maybe he also scammed a few other people with them.
