This guy (FunnyDJ) traded me a dodgy Dead Island key, i only found out that some were bad a week or two after the trade. Steam just removed the game. I had the original transcript but deleted it, thinking that it was a safe trade (steam took over a month to remove the game). I have some other proof though (later convo).

Another Dota 2 scammer.

He contacts you in the typical trading chats and offers Dota 2 for your games (usually a too good to be true deal). Then he tells you that his Dota 2 is giftable, etc. When I offered to use a middleman he left the chat.
A while after my conversation with him I saw another guy saying that he was scammed by this Taz! guy and I talked to him to confirm my theories.

This guy scammed me out of 5 games for a useless MW3 key-region locked.

I went 2nd since we had traded earlier in the day with no problem, member since 09, and he had no problem with me taking screenshots. He then proceeded to drop me as friend and block me as well. He has left a comment on my profile from earlier trade that he didn't delete though. I created support ticket, and also reported him through link on his page.

Well, its not a big problem. You see, its only a beta, I did not lost anything, since it will be removed from all accounts later. But on the other side, I did not won anything in return. Heads up:
User(s) on the forum are trading games for a method to sign up for IGN prime without paying anything. This 'method' involves using a virtual Credit Card with insufficient balance to sign up. This is not a 'legit' way to get free games, as the user claims, this is credit card fraud, plain and simple.

By extension, I would advice to be careful with keys from IGN prime at the moment, as there might be the possibility keys from fradulemt accounts will be revoked when the fraud is detected. Just my 2 cents, though.

so hes thread was about having Homefront key from greenmangaming and he wanted Nuclear down so i contacted him and i give him nuclear down and he give me 1 key ( it was invalid) then he gave me another one also invalid, then he remembered the keys was region locked so he said he will send an email to send him key for my region and after one day he removed me from fl and ... i dont care about this game i dont like it , no1 wants it so its no big deal to me , but i want him to be punished

I'm actually posting from the steam forums, but thought I'd report anyway. I wanted to trade FEAR 3 and 10$ steam wallet for rayman origins and trine 2. He adds me and says he will paypal $80 since he's from australia. I say sure, but he has to go first. I gave him BeMine keys I don't care about in the end to see if he was telling the truth and he wasn't. He "got offline" (he deleted me, blocked me, and/or made his profile private). Whatever. Still have FEAR 3, don't need those keys. (BTW replaced my paypal e-mail and all keys with X's)

Users keep bumping their threads every couple of minutes, then delete their previous bumps so the casual observer doesn't notice they're bumping much more than once per hour. I am aware that this is not a new problem (it has been pointed out in the Rules sticky a month ago or so), but it is a problem, as the threads of those who follow the bump rules get drowned in the mass of threads from users that don't, especially when they have multiple threads.
