Too steep. Oddworld + Undertale aren't cheap. I just bought Samorost 3 on the iPhone for $0.99 so I'm in no hurry to overpay for it on Steam.
Hm, I see. I don't think it's fair to call it steep though, especially if you're the collector type and want to have everything on steam. I don't follow game prices for other platforms, and I only know it has an iPhone version because it was bundled some time ago, so that one must be obviously be much cheaper. Samorost 3 (this version) hasn't been bundled yet, while Oddworld was in the Freedom Bundle and in a Humble Monthly, plus it had a considerably better discount at least once. That's why I added Undertale to make up for the difference, but there are other option I could've picked. I'm sorry you see it this way, but thanks for the explanation!
As a relatively new trader, I'd suggest becoming acquainted with G2A if you aren't already. The prices might not be accurate, but it's great for the purpose of comparison. In this case, Oddworld itself it a few dollars higher than Samorost 3. From a personal opinion perspectt, I know the previojs Samorost games and games like them tend to drop to very low prices in a reasonable amount of time. Oddworld has held it's value for a while and Undertale has an absurd amount of positive Steam reviews and - subsequently - demand.

Well, I can't deny that I haven't done much game trading so far, so of course your comparison might be better than mine. I checked itad and it looks like Samorost 2 has a consistent base price of 5.00 and discounted price of 1.00 for the past 4 years. I suppose it dropped from 20.00 or something before that, seeing as it was first bundled in 2010 (didn't know Humble Bundle was that old). I have no interest in these games - I picked up a copy some time ago exactly for trading purposes, but I see no reason to not take your word for it that they depreciate steadily. Samorost 3 on the other hand looks like it's a little over a year old and did indeed drop in price fairly quickly, but not lower than 7.50 for now. Oddworld on the other hand is twice as old, but was available for 5.00 a few times during the last 12 months, plus bundled multiple times, like I said. For someone very interested in Samorost 3 (not your case, but I had no way of knowing), I don't think this would've been an unfair trade at all. And I'll say it again, I picked Undertale to make up for the difference because I figured it would fit price-wise, considering it's recent appearance in the Humble Monthly, though I see your point about it's demand and popularity. I admit I may have been too greedy with this choice, but I would've just as easily settled for Else Heartbreak or Epistory or Spec Ops or Sam & Max.
When you bring up G2A, you open a whole other can of worms. I don't use it that often, but I do take it into account everytime I try to trade something. It doesn't really matter what the offers on G2A for a game are in the cases where it was available for cheaper, like for Oddworld (again 5.00 or ~7.00 in other sales is better than the current 10.50 on G2A - also I've been describing prices in euro so far, since it's my region and that's also what I have G2A set to, so sorry for any potential confusion). I definetly don't think it's ok to refer to it for every single case, just look at Dark Souls 1 (that was around 5.00 euros a year or so ago, probably after that event when many people - a lot from the US iirc- got it for free; I myself got it for 4.50 from the publisher's site - apparently they use the same format as Square Enix; of course, now that it hasn't been on a good sale for a while, the offers on G2A skyrocketed, it's at 20.50 now from what I see, which is ridiculous since you can buy it for that price directly from Steam, probably cheaper in the US; I think the past month it's been constantly increasing from 13.00 to what it is now) or Borderlands the Pre-sequel (lowest offer is 10.79, which is ridiculous again when you can still buy it for 10 bucks along with a bunch of other games) or Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines. A different example would be the Skullgirls 2nd Encore Upgrade, which dropped very quickly from 8.00 to 0.80 after it got bundled for the first time by Bundlestars. So basically I can't trust very much what a game's value in on G2A when they usually don't change much when the game is on sale, only when there's a huge event like a free key or a popular bundle.
I really understand your reasoning and it's too bad that you're not as interested in Samorost as I thought. Still, I wouldn't be so quick to judge my offer based mostly on G2A says. I'd say the fast depreciation for my game is the better reason provided by you. Thans for the more detailed explanation and good luck with future trades!
