It's too bad I have no proof, I've been too trustworthy and learned my lesson.

I traded my copy of Dota 2 with a user called M0LL0T0W~~, and in return he gave me a key for GTA4. I tried using this key and steam told me it had already been used on a different computer. Seconds after sending me the key he defriended me and has not responded to any messages.

A few days ago, a user named "engineer harro", added me on steam, offering 2 games for my CS:GO beta copy. So he bought the games and we traded.
The games were:

• Fallout 3 : Game of the Year
  Everything went fine, I downloaded and played the games, but today I received 2 messages on my Steam:

He asked to trade my metro 2033 key with his inventory. He showed me his inventories and let me choose one. I chose borderland GOTY. He agreed. Because he got more than 45 games and some people left him messages which say things like good trader (now I know they are fake.), I gave him key first. Then he activated the game on his account and did not talk anymore.

Added me wanting to buy games, said he would go first and then insisted I trade him half of the games beforehand. I pointed out he had 0 vouches and he responded by saying he'll send the money but I will have to give him the games after checking my mail as he 'had to go'.

Very suspicious behavior, and after calling him out he immediately deleted me. I genuinely believe this guy is a scammer, and I was just aware enough to realise before he carried it out.

I am not sure if this is a scam or if I am too sensitive but can anyone tell me if when one redeem say a code for game A, steam will show you redeeming game B instead? But the end result is that game A will be added to your library and not B. We agreed to trade his Red Nation for my Beat Hazard Ultra. In good faith, I gave him key for Beat Hazard, and he cancelled the trade, promptly "dissappeared" from chat, and immediately removed me from his Friends list.

Classy guy. Although he's already on Yatterman's list of scammers under one of his former names, he doesn't seem to have been banned from Steamtrades (or Steamgifts for that matter).

Please would you consider banning this utter ballbag from Steamtrades and associated sites before anyone else gets ripped off. His mother must be so proud. I bet she's been relieving lonely men of their pocket change for years...

Well, I want to report a guy for TRYING to scam me. I haven't got scammed, but it's pretty certain that he was trying to.

Last night he added me and tried to offer me his games for my SFxT. I refused his offer. Then he offered 35usd paypal money for the game, saying it's fair for him as the game costs 40usd in his country. I found this offer so tempting and accepted it. He asked me to go first but I didn't want to. I suggest the man that we should find a trusted middleman from steamrep and make the trade. He stated that he didn't believe in middlemen because you, Yatterman, also got reported as a scammer. I was trying to find another middleman and he left for bed before I could find one.

Minutes ago he came back and still had the same offer. The same story went on as he did not want any middleman, while trying to persuade me to go first because his was real money but mine was just a virtual game (what? does a game just accidentally walk into my inventory? lol) After that I proposed him to trade my SFxT for his CS:GO and 3xDota2's via steamtrade, as a compromise. (Yeah I know it would sound like a ripoff for SFxT but considering his offer of 35usd I thought he might as well accept this) But he said my game was only 18usd and he didn't want to trade those for it. That was what made me sure that his 35usd offer was just a lure.

i was trading binary domain and this man (or woman i don't know) asked for a skyrim key and what do you know he scams me and logs out im not mad because it was kind of my fault for not checking if he was legit. he changes names and i hope o one else gets scammed by him. sadly i don't have screen caps he didn't contact me via the site but through a steam message.

Imgur, first of all it was the game he wanted, he even added me. I never forced him to trade and now after he finds out that its a low violence version he gets all angry for no reason.
