Yatter, I think this thread should not be for just scammer reporting... If this is the official reporting thread, I think any who break the rules should be reported here. There is a lot going on that is against the rules (key trading for games considered exploited, duplicate threads, etc)...

For the first since I started trading a few months ago I was scammed. I posted here and at steam trading foruns. Guy contacted me through steam, profile sounded legit, and I was needing paypal funding so for the first time I decided to also accept paypal. Everything is pictured bellow.
He offered me 14 paypal for bulletstorm and painkilelr redemption. He asked me to go first with bullestorm, and since I have always made nice trades, even with keys, and never had a problem going first or second, I accepted. He got the game, said was sending paypal. I asked him to wait while I confirmed receipt to send the other game and he said he was in a hurry, i told him i didn't get the money, he logoff and blocked me.

UPDATE: I already reported him to steam support, and reported to steamrep after posting here. He is now marked as scammer at steamrep, too (http://www.steamrep.com/profiles/76561198019645435). Found out at steam trading foruns that he scammed at least two other people during the day, in different ways, too. I was too stupid, but, since his profile was all clean, even after checking with steamrep, I agreed to go first. I hope at least now, when someone checks his profile, they will be warned.
Just beware, people. The guy who scammed has scammed other people. If you check steamrep, another report, besids mine, has been added and he created a new thread at steamt rading foruns http://forums.steampowered.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2640782, where he offers the game he scammed frm me and a dota 2 he scammed from someone else (if you check his posts, you'll find a thread where he offered dota em 2 other people, besides me, report his dota was scammed.

On another note, curiously from the two profile comments he has about "good trades", one of them is by the guy Kunibert bellow reported here. They are friends, it seems. Or could be an alternate account.
I don't expect to have my game back, but if I can help other people avoid being scammed by him, it is enough.

So, the following happened: I agreed with user LegendzNeverDie (current name / URL: http://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561197962030803) on trading my Assassin's Creed: Revelations against his STORM: Frontline Nation and 3x Dota 2 (of which one was tradeable and two giftable-only). After we traded the tradeable items, I asked him to send the giftable items. He then just deleted me off his friend list.
I already reported him to steam support including a screenshot of our agreement.

Maybe we should make a new thread requirement such as one thread per user titled "Username's Trade Thread". Would reduce clutter like that but would be harder to find trades.
Limiting the number of threads to 1 or 2 would greatly reduce clutter, but why have a mandatory title ?

Apparently, some users, like h4r5h4v3ng3r apparently, seem to interpret that as meaning "one thread, that's all", while either users, like Zsegiano apparently, seem to interpret that as "I can make as many threads as I want as long as I offer different stuff in each one."

I think this is pretty clear: "Only post one thread regarding your offer, no duplicate threads." One thread regarding your offer... whatever it may be. One thread per user. period. how you name the title should be up to you (based on your AAA titles, bestsellers, top wishlisted items, etc)...
I will admit that it is not very clear when you read it and go on. If you dwell on it for a second, it does come to the meaning I understand it as.

Scammer, took one of my dota2 keys without paying. The guy wanted 3 gifts of dota2 to which I'd send first and he'd pay me $10 for each one. The deal was I sent him 1 then he sent me $10 or $20USD, and we'd do that until 3 were traded. Below are screenshots of the successful trade. I sent the gift to the e-mail 'nikozsa@yahoo.com' as he already owns the game; thus couldn't gift to his particular account.

His steam ID is 76561198055146209, he offered me Paypal for all my DOTA 2, I sent him only one via. e-mail because I didn't trust him and as soon as he accepted it he pretended to send me payment and deleted me off his friends list. He also has his profile so that only friends can make comments so he has only positive comments on his steam profile.

Another scammer to report here and fooled by another AAA title Steam Key (which is later said to be a Desura key). First of all, I don't even know what Desura is, this Steam user { CRONOBIS } offered a The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Steam key for my Trine 2 (tradeable), DoTA 2, and Guild Wars: Eye of the North. Thinking he might be a scammer at first but later ignoring that assumption because I saw he was from Poland in his profile -- I know this is very stupid but I had a really close friend from Poland .. it was wrong of me to think that this guy on Steam who is supposedly from there can be as good as him. Totally my fault, I'm an idiot and I need to stop going big-eyed for these big titles -- I'm just going to buy my own Skyrim later, no need for trades.

I am trying to find { CRONOBIS } ID or any kind of link to his profile but steamrep.com cannot find it nor is any other Steam ID searching website. If you type { CRONOBIS } or just copy/paste from Add a Friend on your Friends window, then you can find his profile. I don't know why I can't find his steam community ID as I tried searching for it.
What baffles me is how these people even with PAGES and PAGES of +rep can scam someone. It's as if they build these high +rep to eventually scam someone. Here I am, trying to build my own +rep so people can trust me more and vice versa but others are using their +rep to fool others and trick them? Now I can't trust reputation easily due to this circumstance but moreover, the KEY is what I should have been more careful of.
