I have some honey-do list errands I need to do... Is it socially acceptable on here to make someone wait a day or so before you respond to a trade request, or will people get fired up if you leave them 'on read' for a couple hours?
You can take as long as you want, and if the other trader doesn't like it... too bad! There's always a risk that if you're looking for a specific game, they may have traded it away before you are able to get it, but it sounds like you're not too worried about it. Easiest first step for you might be to make a list of your games in a spreadsheet and mark down their value on gg.deals (make sure you're looking at the steam version and not GOG or Epic). From there you can see roughly what others are offering and whether it's a good enough deal for you. Also, you don't ALWAYS have to use gg.deals, if you want a game bad enough you can give away value... opposite is also true - if you don't want the game that much you can command more value in return.
Biggest games you should "covet" are the f1 games and wwe2k23. I can't recall some of the others but watch out for folks targeting those games!!
