the FACTUAL content of your post is different to how an English speaker might interpret it. it seems very abrupt and like you have a problem. if i spoke the way you did to another native English speaker they may well take offense, despite YOU not meaning any.
Ok, now i'll explain tradeables and the Steam market. UK residents pay HUGE amounts of Steam tax. we pay twice as much for many of our games than many other countries. someone from Pakistan sent me lots of cards recently (about $1.50 worth - in their currency). but they were low value cards. if they sold those cards in Pakistan the Steam tax would possibly be very low (i don't know the details). so, if they sold their $1.50 in cards IN PAKISTAN Steam might give them $1.35 in actual currency (this amount is a total guess, but it makes my point)
in the UK, if i sell a card for 4p Steam only give me 2p for each card. so, if i was sent $1.50 in cards from Pakistan, when i sell them here in the UK i only receive HALF that amount. Steam tax of 50%. however, tax on larger items is much less. i sold a ToD yesterday for 69p. Steam only took 7p in tax. so not 50%. much less.
it is affordable for people in other parts of the world to pay for things with low-value Steam tradeables. here, in the UK, it REALLY is not.
people in other countries think they are giving me nearly $1 in cards or smaller tradeables, but they are not. Steam are taking a HUGE amount. And they're already making so much money from us for games. Smaller tradeables give Steam lots of free money. it's not fair, and i don't like it.
so, i sell a game for $1.40 to someone in Greece or Ukraine. they pay in lots of small cards. They had £1.40 and have PAID $1.40, but i only get .75cents.
If they pay $1.40 with a ToD and some higher value cards? i'll get $1.10. Steam do not steal as much.
the games i, occasionally, sell cost me money to buy. accepting some types of payment rather than other types of payment makes more sense to me. if i accept ref for everything or 4p cards i lose alot of money and then i can't buy more games and then i can't trade.
so, you want to pay in ref? ok. but I don't want to lose money. so you'll pay more ref than if you paid with larger tradeables.
this was boring. i'm sorry.

if there was a misunderstanding - and there was - i apologise. but Steam, and the way they take money from people in different countries, is very different.

Started post with question about ref with no offence or complain but with riddle what you wanted me to craft them into, if person not dealing with ref he state it, you wanted to craft, I don't know in what. How my comment went to "screw you", needed the price to know, if I will afford and willing, and should I bother you because of it, did not know you will be offended by it. You should know many foreigners not speak english well (at least translator helping), trying to speak on your native language and not on their own which you don't know, even between both non english persons, so need make discount on phrase construction, why try to "interpret" and searching back meaning behind the words which is not there instead of plain translation, to not upset both. But even after so long read not figured out about ref and your deal with them, because it is all about cards and low value of some of them you got from a trade. If you don't like it, tell price you want to get so person will be awared , or deal with wallet +steam fee(15% on small or big card value, not matter, I thought it was permanent, did not know it other countrees there is 50% fee, sorry for you). Figured only that you love tod, but if game not worth tod?, maybe ref is more stable than cards (but ofcouse market always can give surprise) You want to get more other want to pay less, yes economics.
So now after all this I still not know what you will ask for Journey2 and currencey for JA, since this is low cost game, and not worth tod.

As for ref, not had a problem with them at all, many traders will accept them as payment for games, you can take them for your game and trade them to other who have the game you want and deal with ref, or if you have many no needed ref you can very easy trade them for TF2 key, Ref and gems is the most easy for trade currency in my opinion - the only easiest is wallet LoL

Woah, some/most "errors" are intentional and will be understood as such by people from these Isles. Some words and sentence constructs are "proper" English and not the more common American versions.

yeesh, i had to deal hard to get hold of that. it's an HB link. looking across all the retailers it's full-price everywhere, and hasn't been bundled in 6 months. if you had something i REALLY wanted i could have dealt - as long as i could have have made off with alot of your booty. but there's little there i need/want.

I mostly like to trade. If I have a recent bundle game and you have a recent bundle game I like = trade.
If you or I have a "big" expensive game, I don't mind exchanging a number of smaller ones for it. I like negotiating.
"Big" Steam tradeables are no problem at all. Keys, ToD, crates - whatever. NO REF. And NO CARDS - I've been scammed too many times.
I like to trade games, but not everybody has the money to be able to collect and trade games. So, that's why I'll sometimes take Steam tradeables. It's also why I, eventually, started accepting Paypal. It's cheaper and easier for some people - so if I trust you, I'll do it. If you pay by Paypal I'll usually sell a little cheaper, because we both benefit - I don't have to pay Steam Tax and I like having actual money to spend on more game bundles, so everybody kind of wins. Ask me about prices. If you're buying several games, I'll sell slightly cheaper still.
Not all previously bundled games are equal. Planetary Annihilation is not the same as Space Hack. Woolfe was recently bundled. It won't be sold cheap or be bundled again anytime soon - they bundled it to raise the game's profile, and that bundle was sold pretty much on the back of that one game. Bundles often have 2 or 3 good games and the rest are junk, so don't get all pissy with me and insist that a game that was once in a bundle is worth almost nothing. It's often not the case. The $3/4 I spent on that bundle was sometimes FOR THAT ONE GAME. I'm left with lots of junk that will never, ever, trade.
Also, a look through my list will show that quite a number of my games aren't from bundles. Some keys I've bought direct from developers just before launch (there's a Steam Group that deals in this) and I've just had quite a while, some games were bought in sales - but were still bought for actual proper money. So, when negotiating don't be a jerk if you don't understand my reasoning for something. Just ask why I've come to my opinion and I'll tell you why something is the way it is.
