there's no point listing games that EVERYBODY has listed. a new bundle comes out and it's always a week of the same crap over and over on Steam Gifts - both in the draws and in the trades section. it's better to hold onto titles for a while until some demand comes back and THEN list them.

no. you're not understanding a very basic concept.
there are two things in play here.
- perceived worth
- actual VALUE.
things have an attached, temporary, fiscal worth. like a house. this can fluctuate, like the economy. the house you bought for $100000 is now apparently WORTH only $20000.
to the people who live in the house the value has not changed however. it is the same shelter, it is the same protection, the same home. the nature of the property and everything it does for them has not change ONE IOTA.
Bioshock was temporarily cheap to get obtain, for some people, if they were aware. Steam are selling it back at normal retail. You can not buy that game for mere cents now, my friend. the temporary fiscal worth attached to it has changed.
the VALUE of this game will never change. it's a classic. people will always want to play it. since it was bundled not long ago I GUARANTEE people have paid full price for it, people who knew it was recently cheaper. but they want that experience. they want that experience because it's so good. because of it's VALUE.
there's actually a book that deals largely with this topic that you may find interesting, called Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance. i doubt you'll ever go near it, but it's about real vs perceived worth.

Yep unfortunatelly platformers not really popular nowday (as well as the strategy games :/ ). But sometimes platformer games are way more better than some of the FPS games in the market in my opinion. I was a really good time with the Giana Sisters, or one of the best I think is SteamWorld Dig or Vessel... ah good old times ;)

it was temporarily cheap. people hadn't heard of it (i have the original on pc AND android). the people who got it in the bundle will talk about how good it is to their friends, and then their friends will want their own copies. it won't be cheap anymore, and they'll have to deal with me.
it makes more sense for me to wait a few weeks, and demand goes up....

i suppose my problem is that The Fall is very high-profile right now, and alot of those people who won't buy the bundle, WILL be prepared to trade pretty hard for that one title The Tex Murphy games could easily just sit on my trade list for months, plus there's every chance i'll be able to pick them up cheap in the meantime.

well, initially i was all excited about Alone in the Dark, but then reading on it appears that it's one of the worst ports in gaming history. so, disappoint.

When bundled I usually look at the current prices (for me it's euro) on steam. Because i don't know if something was bta or not. Sometimes they're games worth 1 euro and in the bta.

so, to buy on Steam your game would cost me more, but if i went trading for it it's likely i'd be able to get a better deal. also, Payday is an older game and will be round in a sale again reasonably soon, and i can wait - as i have a billion games to play.
so, it's a question of worth, really. if you feel like you can trade Payday for better then it's not a good deal. but the game you want is newer and rarer in the trade market and i can shift them very easily.
there really is no right answer.
if you need some time to think about it then you should absolutely do that. the idea that i could make a trade and then the other person being left thinking they just got taken advantage of is not something i would be very happy with.

it's been bundled before, but people go looking for Kingdom Rush, they know it and they want it - popular as hell. if i just sit on it a while there's every chance i'll get a pretty good offer.
there are two games of yours i'm kind of interested in Orborun looks like a fun little game ($1.49 now in the humble sale) and Skara. but Skara is still early access and no one knows how its' going to turn out, and yours isn't The Blade Remains - you know, the version where you actually get stuff to play with.

I think Woolfe is one of those cases where they bundle it low at launch just to get attention - which has worked - and then you won't see in sales for a long time and the tradeablity will go up and up. You'll have seen that there's not much on your list I don't have, and I'll be able to trade her soon for decent titles.
So, if I wait, she's worth more to me than that.

i actually have both those titles. The Night of the Rabbit is filed under "Adventure" - and not under "The" but under "Night". it's usual to disregard precursors like "The" or "A" when filing titles in bulk.

I've got to the point where if I don't have a bundled game it's because I don't want it. 10 random cards, after paying steam tax, could end up with me giving it away for less than I actually paid for it, so not tempting.

I mostly like to trade. If I have a recent bundle game and you have a recent bundle game I like = trade.
If you or I have a "big" expensive game, I don't mind exchanging a number of smaller ones for it. I like negotiating.
"Big" Steam tradeables are no problem at all. Keys, ToD, crates - whatever. NO REF. And NO CARDS - I've been scammed too many times.
I like to trade games, but not everybody has the money to be able to collect and trade games. So, that's why I'll sometimes take Steam tradeables. It's also why I, eventually, started accepting Paypal. It's cheaper and easier for some people - so if I trust you, I'll do it. If you pay by Paypal I'll usually sell a little cheaper, because we both benefit - I don't have to pay Steam Tax and I like having actual money to spend on more game bundles, so everybody kind of wins. Ask me about prices. If you're buying several games, I'll sell slightly cheaper still.
Not all previously bundled games are equal. Planetary Annihilation is not the same as Space Hack. Woolfe was recently bundled. It won't be sold cheap or be bundled again anytime soon - they bundled it to raise the game's profile, and that bundle was sold pretty much on the back of that one game. Bundles often have 2 or 3 good games and the rest are junk, so don't get all pissy with me and insist that a game that was once in a bundle is worth almost nothing. It's often not the case. The $3/4 I spent on that bundle was sometimes FOR THAT ONE GAME. I'm left with lots of junk that will never, ever, trade.
Also, a look through my list will show that quite a number of my games aren't from bundles. Some keys I've bought direct from developers just before launch (there's a Steam Group that deals in this) and I've just had quite a while, some games were bought in sales - but were still bought for actual proper money. So, when negotiating don't be a jerk if you don't understand my reasoning for something. Just ask why I've come to my opinion and I'll tell you why something is the way it is.
