you edited it with your browser :P
here is good proof https://i.imgur.com/eWZTY8W.png ;)
LOL, the proof i posted is for you
to show you that i edited the thread after you posted
its stronger then your proofs :P
Another proof, if it was greedy already, why would you say "do you have proof that it was *greed?" How did only "GREED" come in your mind? Why not any other misspell? ;p
Hence it's proved that it was "GREED" before.
Dealing with Scorpy has made me a detective ;p
i putted the proof
"http://prntscr.com/id3qvi
you must saw his history before trading with him, you took advantage of the situation and his bad reputation and scammed him, we all can see the game in your library
"
i can't add anything, i believe its enough
Please can you add me on steam i will give you my email and everything to make sure im not that guy who scamming , my account is hacked please

They no longer show up cause the user contacted Humble support and they deactivated the codes:
https://www.steamtrades.com/trade/UzI8t/h-the-long-dark-tomb-raider-owlboy-more-w-keys-offers-list#hD3LYkr
So you are telling us that the person who hacked your account also gifted you these codes?
Please...
I didn't said that but give me a chance, in bosnia we have a facebook group and we help each other i can give you all proofs that i bought keys from fb group
You kinda lost your chance when you scammed Amorphism. I wouldn't have bothered with you but Amorphism is a nice guy and didn't deserve to be your first victim.
My english is not good and i don't know everything... like you can see i am from bosnia and herzegovina
i will give you my email + password of that account
and i will give you all info from my facebook and email just if you want to make sure that account is hacked
I actually bought a couple games from him, doesn't look like a scammer to me, just some guy who got really unlucky lol.
I'd really suggest doing the following :
Steam // Settings // Interface // Display Steam URL address bar when available
People just need to understand that Steam ID and Steam name are two completely different thing.
Abdul, in 2 hrs I'll send you a 10-15 seconds video which you may add to this thread, it will be useful for sure.
It's fuckin 59 secs sorry, https://youtu.be/uCqqMjVSZts
Most of the newbies are scammed because of impersonators because they don't know to perform this basic check.
This might be helpful imo, anyways, it's your choice, no force, you can put it up if it's worth it :)
Um...I guess you should've waited a bit before this https://www.steamtrades.com/user/76561198081879999#KzJbh
Actually, even I don't have many High End Games in my library (because I have potato PC and don't get time to play because of exams) so I'm not sure if calling him scammer for having low end profile is good. He has 5 Years on steam, that made me think so.
https://www.steamtrades.com/trade/ESPTz/kingdom-come-deliverance-for-paypal-and-other#OAlHDKs Let's see what he says.
he may borrow them now, dude he only have 1 game,,, csgo
its alt account
i wouldnt leave him -rep if i was not 100% sure
Hmm ya, you are probably right. My problem is I trust people very easily....XD I got a PayPal charge back recently by a 5 year old steam account.!
You might wanna add
"Use enhanced steam to be able to view their steamtrade profile and make sure its them you're trading with "
I'm kinda new here, but 2 scammers added me on steam already.
Points 2-3-4 saved me, even if i thought bout em by myself.
Very helpful tips, here's my bump.
Have a nice day tho ^^
heyy agk i see you posted a trade offer in this thread
https://www.steamtrades.com/trade/fXNFk/h-humble-gift-links-god-eater-2-deus-ex-mankind-divided-paypal-w-ark-survival-evolved
i went on his steam profile, he doesnt have any games to it
do you think it is a legit account?
https://steamcommunity.com/id/Sephirod_/
tbh i'm not really sure
i spammed him when the monthly games revealed
he has 82 games ( as shown in badge and ST profile )
but i dont know why we cant see anything, anyway i would avoid trading with him, but yeah he might be legit
same i cant really see his games or anything so i though might be an alt, same happened with another person i was trying to trade
You should also add this:
"If someone with 0 or low reps offers to buy you a gift from the Steam store for cheap, don't get greedy as it's a guaranteed scam".
Since there's that lifeless guy who's been making smurf accounts and revoking gifts.
I meant that though I'm not one to talk lets just say that both of us could often do better with our proposed offers to others.
keep your advice to your self, sir! i dont need someone to learn me how to offer games especially resellers
greed is something different than trading or lowballing
like i have tomb raider 2013 and want pubg ,, this is greed and always end with scammer
i gave him the chance to make his own thread to help others, but he did nothing
he got mad because I got some lucky deals
check https://www.steamtrades.com/go/comment/jHIzbRV
and https://www.steamtrades.com/go/comment/2bpAkWp
I had thought about intervening your arguments but I preferred staying neutral since he was being good to me for sometime. But today I realized he's a greedy reseller. He gets jealous when other people get better deals or when they offer something better after his comment. He said 'I was following him' repeatedly. I got pissed off finally.
And it's obvious human nature they will accept a advantageous deal, at least when OP himself asked for it, nothing wrong in that imo, I would have done the same, he would have done it too.
I accepted steam invite and talked to the scammer. He said he has 2 copies of Stellaris and asked me if I can buy G2A keys for him. Before I did, I looked him up on this site and saw he has +2 / -166. I backed out right away. Lesson learned. Definitely do not accept random steam invites! There need to be conversation done on this website first.
As a somwhat-new user on that site (as in I didn't trade that much), I'm a bit worried about a part of your thread, since I think "Try to trade with high rep users" doesn't give new users a fair chance. Nobody is ever going to get high rep unless people would agree to trade with them when they have low rep. You have to start somewhere. I would suggest changing it into "if you trade with people who have low rep, ask them to go first", since I think that makes more sense.
"Try"
means its better to trade with high users, but you dont have to
but do you prefer to trade with guy has 0 rep or a guy have 100?
Obviously everyone would prefer trading with people who have higher rep if you get 2 identical offers for the same game, but I do think in avarage trades it's important to remember that you shouldn't judge everyone just because some people are scammers.
If you want to be careful, I think it's ok to just ask those people to go first, so that way they can't scam you, that makes sense. But when you recommand to try and not trade with low rep people at all I think that's making new users feel a bit "unwelcomed". :P
I think it's ok to just ask those people to go first, so that way they can't scam you
scammers can go first, then revoke the payment, that is always happened here. higher rep guy, less chance to revoke
But when you recommand to try and not trade with low rep people at all I think that's making new users feel a bit "unwelcomed". :P
this guide is for newbies not for the high rep users. so i suggest that newbies get some +rep from high rep user first
i'm not an admin here, i just want newbies dont get scammed by fake accounts, they are free to do whatever they want

I know 2 people who add the new users, people with 0 reps and nothing, to scam them, both have a ton of negative reps. I will link their steamid soon,.Hope that someone makes a masterlist of such steamtrades scammers. New users must be made wary of such people
Yeah, as a rule, it's also a great policy to not add people with copious negative rep. I'm always shocked that a person with -20 (or more) rep is able to find trade partners still. But, it apparently keeps happening according to the rep reviews.
yeah, it's really a shame how people take advantage of this kind of sites, actually caught 2 scammers by asking them to comment on my post first, really helpful post
Bump, ran into a few scammers lately, luckily I always come and check their rep
Many scammers come here every day, they keep impersonating high reputation users
here are some tips for safe trade:
