Had some hiccups, but I got my key in the end. +REP!
Negative experience.
We agreed on a trade where I would send my key for Zombie Night Terror first, because TwigzMcSticks had previously received already-redeemed keys from other traders.
I sent my key and it was successfully activated. TwigzMcSticks then sent me a StarVaders key, but shortly afterwards explained that there had been a mix-up and that the key was no longer available.
I tried to find several alternatives: PayPal reimbursement, replacing StarVaders with another inexpensive key, or choosing something from their available GOG/Prime keys. None of these options worked out.
We eventually agreed on LUFTRAUSERS from Fanatical, but I was then told I would have to wait until September 22–25 for it to be purchased.
At the time of writing, my key has therefore been redeemed, but I have received nothing in return.
I don't believe this was necessarily intentional, and TwigzMcSticks did apologize and offered to compensate me later, but I don't think it is reasonable to make a trader wait more than three weeks after their key has already been redeemed.
I will update this review if the trade is eventually completed.
Update: We were able to resolve the situation in the end.
After discussing it further, he offered Chants of Sennaar in exchange for a few additional keys from my side, sent his key first, and also gave me an extra game as an apology for the trouble. Everything activated correctly on both sides.
I appreciate that he came back, took responsibility for the situation, and made the effort to find a fair solution. The initial trade was frustrating, but I'm happy with how it was ultimately resolved.
