You can report him/her on (steamrep.com). If you have all the evidence and the chat of course. Another tip: You always save someone's STEAMID64 and not the Custom Steam Profile URL, because they can change it and you can't find them.
How does this scam work? Don't buyers have their keys refunded by Steam? I thought trade window trades were 'safe', as in you'd at least get your items back in case of a scam.
Yeah Steam will give your "keys" back but not all the time. So if you are buying "DayZ" buy it from a trusted trader/seller.

Always save or copy the Steam64ID, because if they change the custom URL you can't find them by that URL.

First of all why would you trade with a person like that? -No reputation, almost like a brand new account, etc. You can't buy "DayZ" much cheaper than maybe $2-$3 from a trader in other region(s). You can check prices in other regions on ( steamprices.com ). My advice is if you want "DayZ" so badly go buy it on your native Steam Store, it's not worth trading for $2-$3 and risking a revoked gift. Cheers!

Reporting other types of scams too!
Too much people are getting scammed by "REVOKING DayZ, Rust & Other Games too", the best advice is to BUY them directly from the Steam Store! But if You want to trade keys/items for the game(s) then find high reputable traders on SteamTrades or TF2Outpost! The best advice is to always check their Steam Profile, SteamRep, SteamTrades & TF2Outpost profile! I recommend "Enhanced Steam" for checking everyones Steam Profile in Your Browser! With "Enhanced Steam" the scammers can't impersonate other traders and so on.
Read the comments in this thread, lots of people reported many scammers or scam attempts that are not on the scammer list!
