lol, a friend warned me about stormsonic. He takes advantage of low rep traders and offers free giveaway keys for good games in hopes they don't realize the keys were given away.

its good to know what your games cost and the cost of what your looking for. If you offer these guys a deal and its crazy unfair most of them would tell you. Then again everyone is human and has there moods. If people have like 300+ rep its a good chance they are a re-seller and if they are in a bad mood may not care to inform you if you are making a bad trade as long as your happy. altho, Jiseru I have never seen any bad from him only good. He lurks the form and tells people of the bad trades they are about to do ^^, or helps out.
Yeah, what happened was he wanted a STALKER game for one of those make war not peace giveaway keys (before the recent bundle that made stalker games cheap), and when my friend told him he can choose another game because it seemed too good. Sonic took the chance to pilfer another game for a giveaway key.
Another time he did something similar to someone else for gta4 or something. It was on his negative review until the vote system was implemented and that didn't technically count as a scam, although a very sleazy move. From those 2 experiences alone I would never trade with him.

Not sure on when happened, but i'm sure it happens. If it matters, I got all 3 stalker games for like 1.00-1.50 each when i first started trading.
They have 2.00-4.99 sell prices on steam from time to time. They also have been bundled off and on from 2014-2015

Note that just because a game has been give away from free does not make it "worthless" It might make it worth less than its sell price. Some games are give away free one time thats its. then may be bundled. A game that sells for like $5 on sell may only be worth $1 then.
