I have...

none. I got scammed.

the account that scammed me is: https://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198201038666 I don't encourage you to bust his balls but I certainly wouldn't stop you from doing so either. even had the balls to send me a friend request a week or so later. prob cause the keys are getting revoked lol. that or he forgot that he scammed me already and is trying for another round (:

I am in Europe and some of my games are region locked. please keep that in mind

Thats horrible. you can revoke the keys if this is from humble. Just contact support and say you are scammed. and revoke the keys and generate new keys for you.

I think humble can help you . Try it. Just don't say you were trying to trade. say your account got compromised.

Permalink

humble is able to see where what device logged in. i doubt they'd fall for that

you are revoking the keys so those keys will be disabled. So its worth a try.

they are probably a reseller. I don't wanna take the fun away of someone who buys the key of a third-party site like g2a. it's a scummy business I know but not everyone knows that and many buy their keys there in good faith.

its your call but if you revoke he may be following this post as well. As reseller maintain their reputation he wont be selling them.
at the end its your key. if I am at your position I would have screwed him by revoking . Later karma will do his part.

i leave it up to humble bundle if they give new key or not. i just told them I accidentally sent em in the wrong chat and wantem the keys to be revoked so they can't be resold or something like that and that I have no interest in new keys. figure they'd be more willing to revoke the keys than generating new ones

Great mate . Next time be careful about scammers. have a great day mate. Good to hear you got back your keys.

hii so many people are out there who change there names and profile pictures to the person you are making a deal and will add you . These are impersonator also a type of scammer. Best way is to use a browser and verify there steamtrades with steam account linked. This feature cannot be done through client.

Permalink

it's whatever. I had no interest in any of those games anyways. I only trade for games that I have an interest in playing in at some point

Permalink

you should try it atleast tell them to revoke it say I send a person by mistake. at least get it revoked so that the person scammed you will not be able to use those key. If you get new one then well lucky. at least you should try once.

how do i even contact the support to begin with? there is no support page

Permalink

https://support.humblebundle.com/hc/en-us/requests/new

This is the link . tell them I done it by mistake. and tell them to revoke keys that you were scammed and generate new one for you if possible. It may take a week. but you will get new keys.
Edit : select my question isn't here. and go on.

An advice...just copy paste the link profile of the person you were talkin to trade on that search reputation you have on the main page of this site, if (probably) is other person than Kendi, I suggest to move on and also remove the -rep from his profile. Take care and be more careful because there are some impersonators/scammers here.

Best to follow MikeC's advice. It is always important to check the reputation of the individual you added on Steam via their profile link. Steam Trades is generally a good option for that, although there are also alternatives. This is not something unique to this website....sometimes people at other platforms try similar things (including individuals who randomly contact you via Steam). It is a tough and unfortunate lesson. Identity theft and other scams do happen occasionally. I also once had something almost similar, but in my case I was not the one scammed, but the thief copied my identity and it took me just about an entire evening to explain to the individual who got scammed that it was not I who did it. My account also got hijacked once.....let's just say it is a learning process about what is and what is not safe to do.

already on it. will just change my profile pic to somethings different too in case they might try that with my account too cause they did ask if I was in Germany due to the region locks of the games. whatever. like I said, weren'T games I give that much about
