Let me get this straight... You don't want people to drop a link to their lists, buuuuuut you expect them to go through your loooong Steam wishlist of over 1000 titles that you didn't even bother to link here? :D

Never said that I want people to scroll my wishlist, I just said I won't read people lists.
Oh, you're absolutely correct. However, you have to admit that it's somewhat implied. I mean, how else can someone make a specific offer if they don't know what you want first? And you don't want to have to go through people's trade lists so... what options are left for potential traders?
- Disclose what game they want and list a few of the games they can offer, hoping that you'll be interested. I believe that the success rate of making such random offers would be very low... people would have to be very lucky to offer something you actually want.
- The only other option is to actually check your wishlist and see if they have games that you have wishlisted. The problem is, your wishlist has over 1000 titles. It's extremely long and yes, it would be a pain in the ass to look through all of it.
Now, I think that most people on ST don't bother to actually read what's written in the OP which is probably why you mostly get comments with links to trade lists. But if someone do want to make a concrete offer... as I see it, there's only two ways to do so and I've already explained them both above.
Have you ever thought of listing some bundle games you'd like to get and/or list the genres you play the most (FPS, RPG, metroidvania, etc)? That would certainly make things easier for people who want to offer you a trade. Just my two cents. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
