When making a 1 for 26 trade (on my part), 3 keys with a total value of 5.8 euros on gray market turned out to be duplicates. When asked to choose something equivalent from my list, the person wanted to receive 15 games for the missing three. There is no deception, but I do not recommend making deals with him - he is definitely a difficult, greedy and unfair person who will have sex with your brain in case of a problem with the key. In the end, I did not receive a key from him, and he activated my 27 games for free on his account. Be careful
In all the years I've spent trading on Steam, I've never encountered such a toxic person.
On the contrary, I've found some very nice and friendly people here in the community who were a lot of fun to trade with. So I hope these people now see what a bad person Wrecker is and that normal (open, fair, friendly) communication with him is clearly impossible.
As you can see from his -rep on Steam Trades, he apparently has a long history of offering dupe keys and previously not even informing his trade partner about this fact:
Below is the complete chat history from last night (he simply deposited all his keys in the trade offer on Lestrades after accepting my offer, and I then replied that four keys were dupes and that I had now sent him a friend request on Steam - hence the chat starting like this):
https://lestrades.com/offer/192560/
Note: I've blacked out one of the keys because I didn't touched it. Since I haven't touched it, it could therefore still be redeemed (by anyone). All other keys have either been redeemed or were dupes!
Below is some important information that is essential for understanding and assessing what exactly is happening and what kind of person this user is. I apologize in advance for the long text and would really appreciate it if someone reads it all.
This user has almost 19,000 (or 42,960 if you don't count only plus 1 games) games in his Steam account and therefore knows very well (as a very experienced trader) how fair and transparent trades normally work and should work.
His almost 5,000 tradables consist largely of shovelware from cheap bundles or giveaways.
I just checked his tradables on Lestrades. He simply leaves the dupes (i.e., the titles from my wishlist that he couldn't fulfill) in his tradables (whether intentionally or subconsciously, I'll leave that uncommented here)...
With lestrades, you also have to truthfully state your reseller status (so it must be actively set) - he stated the following here (one of the points about him being manipulative and a liar --> he stated in the chat that he wanted to sell my key):
It is also known that he uses multiple Steam accounts that he operates. So, unfortunately, you need to be doubly careful with him in many respects.
He even has many keys for some titles (see his markings on his tradables with the number of titles/keys on Lestrades). So it probably annoys him twice as much when individual titles are revoked, and he then takes this anger out on his trading partners.
Example excerpt:
Also interesting to know:
Many of his keys had the addition "for beta testing" upon activation (there are some traders that don't accept such keys or want to be informed beforehand)!
--> So his intention was quite clear: he was reselling my very rare and valuable F1 2017 key (a popular game that was removed from Steam years ago and is therefore difficult or expensive to obtain on the gray market) and was originally happy to get rid of a bunch of cheap shovelware titles (that no one wanted and that had been sitting in his tradables for years) in one fell swoop.
Lestrades has well-documented the current value of my key and the value of his shovelware:
So you can clearly see that I was actually doing him a favor with my trade offer (that he could get rid of a few of his shovelware titles in one fell swoop and in return receive a rare/valuable title from his wishlist that was still missing from his library). In my offer, I selected all the titles from my wishlist that he had in his tradables at that time.
Ultimately, he couldn't deliver the following three titles because he only had dupes for them:
Rhiannon: Curse of the Four Branches
Santa Rockstar Steam Edition
Terra Incognita ~ Chapter One: The Descendant
My wishlist is very large (currently 1608 titles at Lestrades), and even though I often get shovelware titles through trades, they're usually only titles that I really want and that are on my wishlist. I've told him this several times.
I was particularly interested in Rhiannon: Curse of the Four Branches (but also in the other two).
Since he couldn't provide a replacement that wasn't a dupe, I spent over an hour searching through his list of tradables and picking out shovelware with virtually almost no value (which, mind you, I had absolutely no interest in - I picked it out and invested the time for him solely to accommodate him and do him a favor so that the trade could be concluded amicably).
I specifically looked up the market values of these titles on gg.deals (it would be beyond the scope of this, to screenshot each individual title with its corresponding value, but fortunately, gg.deals also has a value history for all titles - you can easily track this through that) and added them up.
This resulted in a value of 5.75€ for the 15 titles, and the 3 titles (accepted by the original trade offer) from my wishlist that he couldn't deliver have a current value of 5.80€ (gray market = gg.deals values - as he even confirmed exactly in his spiteful -rep).
For the sake of transparency, here are the shovelware titles including their gray market value from last night:
Townopolis 0.25
Narborion Saga 0.32
Masky 0.33
Crab Cakes Rescue 0.35
Dexodonex 0.35
Artificial Defense 0.35
Dungeon of Gain 0.35
Wooden Sen'SeY 0.36
Tyler 0.37
One Day For Ched 0.38
Grand Pigeon's Duty 0.41
The Barbarian and the Subterranean Caves 0.46
Tcheco in the Castle of Lucio 0.47
Antisquad 0.5
Dark Scavenger 0.5
The fact that I received 27 titles from him in my account is also a lie, which shows how manipulative and callous this person is.
The fact is, these 26 titles were agreed upon for F1 2017:
https://lestrades.com/offer/192560/
He couldn't deliver three of them, and after a long search, I offered the above-mentioned titles as compensation out of pure goodwill. He had sent the first four keys, and I had already redeemed the first three when he wrote again ("Or do you mean you want to get all 15?") - I hadn't touched the fourth at all (you can also check it transparently in my library). This one key (value 0.35) obviously makes little difference, but it shows how manipulative he is.
He also claimed in my chat (see chat history) that he hasn't traded in four years, which is a blatant lie (this again shows how manipulative this user is) - see his rep history here on SteamTrades and his history on Lestrades:
https://lestrades.com/@wreckerishe/offers/
https://www.steamtrades.com/user/76561198048373585
Apparently, this annoyed him so much that he had to compensate his dupes fairly and couldn't rip me off, that he immediately removed/blocked me as a friend on Steam and also blocked me on Lestrades. He also clicked "Complete" on our trade on Lestrades.
It's clear that this person isn't at all interested in a solution (and certainly not a fair one)!
This morning (it was already very late last night), I unfortunately saw the -rep here and was very sad about this person's actions.
Ultimately, this users method cost me a lot of time to going through his list of endless shovelware titles and now I've spent the whole morning again to set the record straight and document this whole situation properly.
Unfortunately, Wrecker is an absolutely problematic—toxic trader who is only interested in his own profit and tries to achieve it with lousy tricks. You should definitely beware of him, as such behavior is guaranteed to get you into trouble.
I'm truly sad and very disappointed by such a toxic behavior.
I'm now hoping that the great and fair SteamTrades community, through which I've already met some truly lovely people, will prevent such people from getting away with their behavior.
Please help to keep this platform clean and trustworthy.
Thank you very much for reading all of this.
