-rep Bad trader!!! I contacted this "old seller" in a Facebook group for a bulk deal on TF2 keys. We agreed on a deal for 40 keys at $1.60 each if I bought them ALL. It was a FAIR price for both of us. At the time, he had about 20 keys, so I had to wait for him to get more stock. He EXPLICITLY ACCEPTED the deal in our conversation.
The problem:
Days later, I checked his inventory and saw he had around 19 keys. I politely messaged him to ask if he had any available because I urgently needed them. Then he told me that he would soon have 20 keys but quoted a higher price than what we had agreed upon.
When I asked him about it, he admitted he had already sold 20 keys to someone else for more money. This means that he would have already had the 40 keys ready to close the deal we had agreed on days ago, but instead of honoring our deal, he broke his word for a few extra cents.
To make it worse, he then tried to sell me his remaining keys at that new higher price without any apology. When I confronted him about his lack of professionalism, he basically said that if he receives a better offer, he will accept it without hesitation. Although he apologized later, his comments made it clear that he never put himself in my shoes or truly cared about the deal. He then refused to say anything more in the chat.
I am completely outraged. He wasted my time and showed zero respect for established deals.
