On September 30th, he offered to buy TF2 keys from me via Paypal and tried to scam me for $24 USD. I noticed many warning flags, so I was prudent from the beginning.

First flag:
Instead of adding me on Steam and waiting for me to read his offer on steamtrades and reply, he added feedback on my profile saying: "bro I have paypal want tf2 keys I cant add i added too many people have cooldown please add ne asap". Scammers like to pressure you, this was fishy but so far could be legitimate.

Second flag:
Zero reputation on steamtrades so I checked steamrep.com just in case, nothing there. No paid games on his account, only 1000+ hours in Dota and 29 hours in CSGO. Plenty of friends, but remember that he added too many people and has a cooldown... Now I suspect he recently acquired or stole this account from someone else, but at this point I was still thinking he could be legit and decided to add him on Steam and be prudent.

Third flag:
When I added him on Steam, he accepted me within 2 seconds. I had 12 TF2 keys to trade, he asked if I can get more because he wants 70 more.

Fourth flag:
After gaving him my email, he said he could not find me "bro you are not shown on payal" and sent me a paypal.me link and asked me "bro can you request me money". At this point, I figured it was for sure a scam. He wanted to trick me into requesting him money but using his link and typing an amount would actually send money to his account, not the other way around. Stupid scam attempt.

Fifith flag:
I noticed the last 10 digits of his paypal.me link (his account ID) looked like a phone number so I asked him if it was his phone number and he said yes. Unsurprisingly, I found out his area code was not from California like his Steam profile stated. It was from Dominican Republic so I confronted him with this and he said he was in India and "kept of steam coz I like california", whatever that means.

Sixth flag:
He then offered to send me a "bank transder", which would probably have turned in a different scam attempt since I didn't bite into the paypal.me one.
