I asked the original seller for a price a few days ago. He didn't respond to me on his thread, but a few days later, a suspicious account added me and contacted me about a Rocket League trade.
He wanted to sell me a key for €300. I didn't pay enough attention at first, but I became suspicious and decided to copy the Steam ID of the person who had added me. I was shocked to find a profile with a very bad reputation.
He had sent me the original seller's reputation to make himself look legitimate and bait me. Once I noticed what was happening and confronted him, he immediately deleted me.
Note: He appears to wait a few days and monitor the original trader's post to see whether the real trader has responded to your comment. If they haven't, he then contacts you and attempts to impersonate the original trader.

People think that just because I'm new here that I'm stupid. Impersonating another profile here (masterMirror) and tried to sell me a key that was probably fake.
Impersonating Zalore who I was trading with. Luckily didn't get me but watch out! He got an A in keyboarding and and F in PE so he's quick to add you and pressure you into a trade before you've double-checked his legitimacy and before his bedtime.
