first time I had to write a negative comment to someone. we traded on barter a week ago and I gifted that key on the steamgifts. the winner said "the key didn't work, its duplicate". I wrote to him about this situation and he replied very rudely. my loss is very small but I expected him to take responsibility.
he said I was wrong and crazy, but who sent the duplicate key has no fault. not recommended.

This guy is pretty shady. His offers are complete lowballs, bereft of value and asking for much better games despite the fact that decent games are in his tradables list.
Don't expect anything fast from this slug. 24 to 48 hours just to get a simple reply or response on an offer to or even from him seems to be the norm.
There are plenty of other traders that would offer a much more quick AND satisfying AND fair deal that what this kid can do. It's irritating seeing how he operates.
Look at his decline rate! Nearly 90 percent of incoming and outgoing offers are declined. Yikes! And any failure rate at all should be scrutinized...his is around 8%!
Trader beware.
Offers trash for decent games, don't be duped by this trader.
-rep The trader offered a game to me on the website barter(dot)vg, offering one of his games for mine. After I accepted the deal, it took me a few days to send over my key, after which I was informed that he had traded his game elsewhere.
He is spamming me with his alt account on barter, even though I've declined him reasoning "disregarding my preferences".
He basically tries to low-ball you with trash stuff.
-Rep. Manners are key, and you can keep yours.
He sent me an offer, which only had one game I was interested in as the others were low balls. I accepted, sent him the key and then he basically says whoops I don't have that key. Slightly irked I find a couple games of similar value on his list. He declines and insists on it being from the trash list. Spends his time trying to reneged and then just stops trying to give me my key altogether. https://imgur.com/CsGNfPq proof of my claim.
Uses an alt on barter.vg to offer me giveaway trash for popular, sought-after games - despite my profile stating explicitly that I instablock such offers. So I block his alt and explain why. He then proceeds to use another alt to again offer me giveaway trash for popular games.
I'd advise caution with this trader.
Hardcore spaming @ barter with multiple accounts!
Can't speak English to save his life with a 15 word vocabulary, with 2/3rd of it being curse words. Absolutely degenerate
Agreed to a trade on Barter, then tried to change it after. Never responded. Offer expired.
Joke Trader. Do not trade or work with this person.
Also, knows 3 words in English "robot, schemer, and lesbian"
Tried to trade with this user on barter.tf. Made him an offer, my two games for his one game. He then countered the offer by removing one of my games from the offer, making it one to one. I found it somewhat strange that he would change the offer so he received less, but I've done the same when I just don't want random extra games cluttering up my library. So I accepted his new offer. Without ever contacting me again, he accuses my keys of being "not as described" even though we never actually got together to make the trade. Apparently he changed the offer by accident and meant to accept my original offer. I'm not sure how that's possible, given that accepting an offer is a one button process and changing an offer takes you to another page entirely, but whatever. I would have been fine with cancelling the trade or going back to the original trade offer if he had just explained the situation. He tried to make another offer to me while the first one was still in question. A bit suspicious to me, so I declined.
I don't think this user is malicious, just clueless. Looking at his history on barter.vg, he seems to have a history of misreading offers, leaving bad feedback accusing people of not sending the right keys, and then finally the site admins step in to fix the situation afterwards. Use caution.
