He added me on Steam to ask about buying some games through PayPal. I spent hours with him listening to his offers, that he admitted would be low since he is a reseller. I have a few multiple keys and I'm not too picky so I was happy to listen.
I eventually agreed to some of his own prices, and right after confirming my email and saying he was about to send over the payment, he appeared 'Offline'. At first I assumed it was computer trouble. Once 20-30 minutes went by I checked my friends list and noticed he wasn't there. It turns out he blocked me. No explanation as to why, and no follow-through with the trade he spent all that time asking me for. Not only that, but after I contacted him on one of his posts to ask what happened and why, he closed the thread and ignored me there as well.
He eventually added me back once I posted in a SECOND thread of his and left this negative rep, and proceeded to explain that he blocked me by accident, and that a friend told him I was a scammer (somehow all within the 20 seconds that it took him to go from being on the verge of sending payment to suddenly blocking me). He refused to tell me who it was, and said he would show me 'screenshots' tomorrow. He spent a long amount of time trying to convince me that he doesn't deserve negative feedback because he had a good reason to block me and bail on the trade. He also said (threatened, if we call it what it is) that )he would potentially leave negative feedback on me with screenshots from his friend and said that part of the trade not happening was my fault for his friend calling me a scammer.
Be careful not to waste your time with this person. I still don't know exactly why he did what he did, but so far it seems to me he just had second thoughts AFTER confirming the deal, and he can't be considered reliable and I certainly wouldn't go in expecting him to follow through on any purchases.
Eventually, he traded me 15 cards for an Origin game, so this is now positive as he completed a trade with me.
