Caution!!! Don't trade with this person!

I sent him a code, got thrown off the list and got nothing back. If someone speaks to me in a respectful tone, I'm always ready for peaceful clarification. Even after such an uncool move. However, this person insulted me directly when confronted. The wording continued to be derogatory in the further course of the proceedings.

In addition, months later he suddenly accused me to deal with invalid codes (interesting how he claim to know that (at that time I searched for it and there was no warning at barter and see nothing on other sides) and at the same time he said he never got a code from me), even the code was definitely valid at that point of trade (for clarification: Steam support can check if codes are valid and I contacted them directly after the dispute began. It's possible to ask them, if a code is/was valid at a said date even they are not allowed to say when exactly the code was used and which user activated it due to data protection laws in my country. They agreed that my code was valid at that time). I'm trading with valid codes from reputable websites. In addition, I generally send codes first so that no trader has risk. It's always my own risk to do that (for those who read that, I learned now and advise: Always make a screenshot if you send a game, so you easily have a proof for such useless discussions). This accusation is ridiculous. And by the way, meanwhile his game is also given a warning about duplicates by Barter. Just bc Barter has a warning doesn't mean everybody who has a code trades with invalid codes. His accusing makes no sense and additionaly he argued with double standards. It's just a try to blame me for his really bad behavior and to turn him in the victim role even if he caused the trouble.

Apparently he was never taught manners. Instead of putting forward logical arguments and solving a problem in a respectful and friendly way, he decided to insult me with useless accuses, he was rude and respectless. He shown very well that he is a person you should never trade. With such character traits it's not worth to communicate with him. Everybody deserve better than the time and nerves you will loose with communicate with him. Plus the risk that you will loose your game.

The acceptance of this "trade" now cost a lot of unnecessary time, caused unnecessary trouble, ... Save yourself that and do not trade with him!

(And not changing something in this dispute, but interesting how this person is so convinced that I'm male, even that's so wrong like the rest)

(Update) Regarding his comment:

  • A "sorry" at beginning is nothing worth if the rest of communication shows bad behaviour and there is so much time robbing trouble caused by him.

  • "you decided to teach me how to trade when I have 200 trades behind me and you have 40"

    1. To say that I'm not ok with this way of trading is simple critique and there is no problem to say this, if you make me useless trouble. No reason to blame me for this and write without any respect for the other side. But being capable of criticism is something not everybody has.
    2. Is the Barter count of trades now the all-knowing source? The amount of trades has nothing to say if a person has good manners as you see. There are a lot of other possibilities to trade stuff and a smaller Barter count has nothing to say about trading experience in general (p.e. I professionally traded for years, even not with steam codes... buy yeah, I have no clue of trading in general and no right to say any critism bc barter show just 40 trades, my fault sarcasm included). If there is a problem, a newer Barter users or a newer trader definitely needn't to be silent if there is a problem. Fairness, good manners, respect and simple rights and duties due to laws are not bounded to an amount at trades. More knowledge/trading rate has nothing to say if a person acts right and fair. That sounds like stupid "elite" thinking for me. Plus that I now have to learn that the rating on barter and here are not so truthful as I thought before. If a user wants to warn others about bad experience and then other people should decide about deleting it, I see a high risk that users with knowing a lot of people can manipulate it with asking for voting for deleting in their own profile and voting for the revenge review on the victims side to not delete it, no matter what happened (but here to say: in this case it's just something I can imagine in general, no fact. I don't know if everybody can vote here.)

""at that time I searched for it and there was no warning at barter and see nothing on other sides" – definitely lie."
No, you are lying. The time we trade there was no warning on barter. And the time you accused me of scam there was no warning at barter too. Now there is one, but it came months after our trade (same with your game that's now marked month later with "duplicates"). Interesting that he want to know so exactly what with this key was, even he claims never to got it. His arguments has have no basis.
Feel free to contact the website, may they see in their log files when a warning went official. It would proof what I said.

"ALL unused KEYS was revoked, not from one bundle, not from one GA, all!"

  1. Yes, the dev seems to have revoked keys. But that seems to happened months AFTER our trade. You could not blame somebody for scam so much time after a trade. Neighter I nor other people who bought this codes can look into the future. But even if such a problem happen so much later and codes should be activated directly (selling them is forbidden anyway), I would be open to find a solution for helping this user. Just to be helpful that everybody is happy with a trade. But not if a person is fooling me anyway.
  2. I would never scam people. There are untruthful devs out there, that sell on truthful websites, but nobody could know if that happen before some people had the problem. If a person scams depends on the reaction if such a problem happen or if they to it well knowing. I always check if there is a warning before agree a trade. There was none. And I would always buy a new code or give another game (depending what the other user likes more) if there ever would be such a problem. Plus I send codes first, so nobody has risk and they can always check first if a code works. Sending codes first would be a bit tricky to scam people or not? Disgusting that this users fools people and after that he tries so make the victim look guilty.
  3. As I said before. I let Steam check the code at beginning of the trouble. I was a working key, they got revoked later.
  4. As I said before too, his arguments are double moral. If everybody is a scammer as far as they own a code with a problematic marking and no matter how much later the code was marked, he would be a scammer too. Bc his game is now marked with "duplicates" too. His argument has no base.

"We asked and you didn't proof that, it's not too hard to load screenshot and give us a link, we don't have to add you and ask for a screenshot in private talk, we have a dispute for this."
Already not the full truth. I never hide the screenshots in general. I offered several times to send it to the mediator in a mail. But I will not upload it on a public side. Messaging with steam support are no public mails. Depending our data laws, the DSGVO, it seems not to be allowed to publish private mails in public websites. If you break the law you can get punished. I don't know how it is with the dispute talk, but i definetly not risk that for such childish trouble. I will not risk to do a criminal, get punished with high money punishment,... just to proof that another person fooled me. And I will not let me force to to do illegal stuff bc he tells not the truth, I'm definetly no so stupid to loos that self control. I explained everything well enough and the data rules are open readable in internet, regardless this user just isn't able to understand that or if he want not understand that (if he claims to be such a experienced trader with his 200 trades, he should know something in general about laws and consequences for breaking them no matter from which country the trade partners are...). But I was always open to sent it to the mediator in an email. Offered that several times, never got an answer from mediator to that offer. That has nothing to do with hiding something. That's simply following the laws. This user should try to do that to instead of fooling others.
At the same time this user has never give a proof, not offered one. Interesting how he try to blame me and at the same time he absolute has nothing to proof.

And again, wasted so much time for that trouble he caused. I'm not willing to waste more. Users can decide now what they think and if they think it's fair to warn other users for same trouble.
I don't need a high barter trades count or on this side here for knowing that I told the truth, to compensate missing self-conference, show imaginary power or whatever this should be. I took the time on barter and here to warn others bc I think it's important to save other users and that I have to do that as part of good society. But I have done enough now. No matter what I will say, this user will find wrong excuses, will try to blame me to hide his own faults, will tell lies,... that will never come to an end while answering that. I told everything important, that's enough.

incredibly funny that the community deleted my negative complaint, although the person scammed me and ended up getting her key, but she likes to write sheets of text and that means she's right)

Initially, I apologized and suggested that you choose any other game from my tradable, but you decided to teach me how to trade when I have 200 trades behind me and you have 40. And then you started your scam.

"at that time I searched for it and there was no warning at barter and see nothing on other sides" – definitely lie. barter marked your key as unused keys was revoked, and i found topic that proof that on SG. I don't need to see your key, cuz ALL unused KEYS was revoked, not from one bundle, not from one GA, all!
