-Rep, we had a trade of more games. One of his keys (the most valuable one) was a duplicate. I find that a bit later. He refused to replace it. So I am giving a bad reputation. The key was for Phobia, that game was revoked by Humble Bundle before he sent me the key.
Reaction to his response: You know I wanted the keys for resale. You didn't tell me anything about any activation time limit, so you are responsible for the keys until the end of time. This has nothing to do with the 14-day refund on Steam, and even if, the key was already duplicate the day you sent it to me. Also, I am in a loss with that trade, because this key was the most valuable one.
This guy came back to me THREE MONTHS later saying the key didn’t work and asked me for a new one. Yeah “a bit later” means three months. Even Steam only gives you a two-week refund window.
At the time, our trade rate was 4.5:1.82. Even if I wrote off that key completely, it’d still come out to 2.16:1.82 — which I think is still a fair deal. I assumed resellers got higher rates because they take on that kind of risk. Guess he doesn’t see it that way.
