OHNO,This person is a scammer; he swindled me out of 160 Keys for MCSM1. It’s hard to imagine that the owner of this page would be a scammer.
I replied to a post by user DodoLTU (https://www.steamtrades.com/trade/Jz6mb/h-games-w-tf2-keys) expressing interest in the game Minecraft: Story Mode - Season 1; my comment is visible there.
Then, someone added me—the first scammer. His profile page is https://www.steamtrades.com/user/76561198110845921. It was obvious he was a scammer, so I saw right through him immediately.
Then came the crucial moment: the OP—who turned out to be a scammer—suddenly reached out to me and pointed out that the previous person I’d dealt with was a scammer. Naturally, I was skeptical at first and kept the conversation polite but non-committal. However, he sounded sincere and was willing to sell me the game, so I agreed to the deal. Crucially, he showed me his SteamTrade account, and I was able to verify via the link that he was indeed the same person, not an impersonator.
That led to what you see in the screenshot: after I sent him the key, he lied, claiming he had already given me the game, and then deleted me.
I hope everyone sees this, and I also hope the forum moderators carefully review my comment—because I can already predict his next move: he will almost certainly apply to have the negative feedback removed. Please do not delete it; doing so would only allow him to continue deceiving new users.
There is a deceptive scheme at play here. As a new user on the Steam trade forum—having only completed one previous trade and thus holding only a single reputation point—I am at a disadvantage compared to him. Since he has a high volume of trades, he can easily get negative feedback removed. I am certain I won't be the last person he scams; many new users have fallen victim to this kind of deception on the forum. While the forum has measures to prevent "astroturfing" (fake negative reviews), these policies can sometimes end up harming the interests of genuine new users.

You can see that he initially pretended to be helpful by warning me that the previous person I dealt with was a scammer, only to scam me himself and then delete me.

There is something quite ridiculous about this: he altered his forum post to look like this (https://prnt.sc/S8BtplduGQvf). The content now claims he won't add anyone on Steam and contains nothing related to gaming. But if the post has no substantive content, how were the trades mentioned in the comments section actually completed? This behavior is childish; it is obvious he modified the post's content. I ask the moderators to please take note of this.
In reality, there aren't actually that many impersonators on the forum; often, it is the sellers themselves using alt accounts to deceive new users with low reputation scores. This particular seller was even more brazen—he used his main account to scam me, which is how I fell for it. Afterward, he would simply apply to the forum to have the negative review removed; it’s a tactic that has been used to death.
One final point: the person who left a "+rep" comment below my post is likely an alt account belonging to the seller. You can see that their feedback history stopped six years ago—the same time the seller’s original post was made. The feedback wasn't originally what it is now; it was modified. This seller has been using multiple alt accounts to orchestrate a series of scams, even using them to leave "+rep" comments that boost their own reputation.
The bottom line is that he is a liar—a person who does nothing but lie.
