Once upon a time en0n posted a sell offer of the gift NBA 2K15 on the website inventory.gift. I thought the offer was very appealing and shot him a trade offer for exactly what he was asking, but then he declined offer. After I message him on discord, he told me the offer was fake (https://prnt.sc/sGbrcTrgf2mz), and then he blocked me on steam (https://prnt.sc/142nQ0RzKsv0). After looking at pricing history we can see that his intention is market manipulation.
(https://prnt.sc/GLts01-YjnXQ) (https://prnt.sc/7YtoyoV-rvSX) in this picture, we can see that he switches his price selling price from 10 to 60 tf2 keys many times, and on the second picture we can even see before that he makes a pledge to buy a ru/cis copy for 50 tf2 keys. Why would you pledge to buy an item for 50 keys and then sell a copy of the exact same item for 10 keys? There was no case of price fluctuation for this game.
(https://www.steamtrades.com/trade/VlaaI/-7#t8uhnmt) he tried to inflate the price of his CS2 skin by using fake price references, then all he could say was "did i ask?" then tried fighting the user for no reason.
We as traders do not need to deal with this time waste, and market manipulation trying to deceive others to agree to a trade.
