+rep thanks for the smooth trade!
+rep. Great trader!
Fantastic trader. Fast, friendly and very reliable. Highly reccomended!
+REP Thanks for the trade
Although the actual key trade went ahead without any issue be aware this dude is a total noob to trading. I was polite, patient and tried to be informative but even with detailed instructions (literal bullet point instructions) and screenshots he couldn't even figure out how to send me a +Rep (I still don't have it, lol!)
How hard is it to click the positive button, write "+rep, thanks for the trade" in the review box and then click submit?!! I felt like i was trying to explain to my elderly Mother how to send an email, Guaranteed Boomer!
At one point he started freaking out and accusing me of "spamming" him on steam chat just for asking politely to complete the trade with a +Rep. I was like, "thanks for the trade, I've given you +rep on Steamtrades, please do the same" and he was all "why are you asking me to do this, why are you so adamant i give you a good review" I calmly explained that this is the common practice when trading and kind of social etiquette and that rep's allow fellow traders to see the trustworthiness and amount of trades completed, etc...sigh I've done 1000+ trades on various platforms over the last 6 years but this dude was something else, I've never seen anyone overreact so epically to a simple request...not built for the internet unfortunately. Anyway treat this dude with kid gloves or he may have a meltdown with you too..sheesh ¯_(ツ)_/¯
UPDATE: The guy finally figured it out after his forth attempt but not before hurling a bunch of abuse at me on steamchat (i made sure to screenshot our entire conversation for the record so it can be reviewed first hand if it is ever necessary) and he has now left his review which I'm sure you'll all find amusing to read. Give it a read, i think you can all judge for yourselves if my assessment is accurate. I rest my case!! 🤦♂️
