this person was extremely rude and arrogant towards me. they started making strange complaints about me immediately, about things that didn't make sense. they complained about my username, calling it 'weird.' they complained that my status was set to 'invisible' saying that it was 'weird' not to be online. although i found it a bit hard to take their complaints seriously, i was still friendly toward them and explained myself much more than i really needed to anyway. however, as the trade got underway, they continued to be difficult to talk to, constantly making little complaints and acting uptight about everything. then, i had to discuss the trade with them, and they were totally unaware of my concerns, no matter how much i explained them. they would finally conclude unsympathetically, that my concerns didn't make sense to them, and that all that mattered was how they felt about my steam username, and my status as invisible on the steam app. no matter how much i tried, their temper could not be mollified. they were incapable of suggesting any solution. i ended up having to present them with an ultimatum: either there would be no trade, or i would livestream the trade with them going first. they agreed. however, even after the trade concluded successfully, they still remained angry, complaining, beligerant. i asked them why they were angry about my status being invisible as it always is, they simply said they found it 'annoying.' it was like talking to a big baby. they ended up leaving me a weird, long +rep message simply out of spite so here's my side of the coin.
