We agreed on a trade on Barter and added each other on Steam, then he apparently got a better offer for the same game that we were supposed to trade and accepted it. Some time later he went on Barter and marked our trade as "failed" and selected that I abandoned the trade as the reason.

He never contacted me, if he had talked to me and explained that he'd rather take the better offer, I wouldn't have liked it, but I would have accepted it and we could've parted ways without any drama. Instead he dishonored the trade and gave me negative feedback for it.

So not only doesn't he keep his word, he also lies and gives you the blame and bad rep for it, that's a terrible way to do business.

EDIT: Wow, now you're really trying to lie even more? Lying when there is so much evidence against you is a really silly thing to do.

That's what you are claiming: https://i.imgur.com/aaEjEv8.jpg

You never messaged me, so how did I ignore you? Then you claimed I canceled the trade, except the trade history shows this: https://imgur.com/a/Po3NGNe

  • At 07:43 UTC on the 29th of May - You accepted my offer.
  • At 19:22 UTC on the 29th of May - You accepted the same game from another user.
  • At 20:09 UTC on the 29th of May - You completed the offer from the other user.
  • At 00:51 UTC on the 31st of May - You marked our trade as failed and claimed I abandoned it.

Where is the message that I canceled the trade? Why does my Barter profile says 0% canceled trades? https://i.imgur.com/sphFCDs.jpg

Here are direct links to the trades in question, which show everything in my screenshots is accurate:

Just hover over the time stamps to see the accurate times he did all of these things, then check out my profile where it shows I have never canceled a trade.

Your lies are just making things much worse for you, so does your revenge rep on here, which will be deleted anyways since the proof is right above. At first I was thinking that you made an honest mistake, but seeing all those lies is showing me that you're a trader that is best avoided.

That is an incredible way of twisting what happened.
I accepted your offer, sent you a steam request, and waited. Later on when logging onto barter I saw you cancelled the trade and I filled in the feedback accordingly. It was only then that I accepted another trade offer. I wouldn't have accepted your offer if I wasn't willing to do it, and I did attempt to complete it. It is you that ignored me on steam and then cancelled the trade. Its quite amazing the story you came up with here.

Just because you trade a lot more doesn't mean you can bully people around when you back out on your offer.
