I dont understand how this would work if someone were giving a key for a tradable game? how would you handle that kind of request? please explain in detail, thx :)
basically, whoever had the tradable game would give it to me, i would hold the game, then the other guy would paste the key in chat, once its confirmed that the key works, i trade the game to whoever is supposed to get it.
What if they lie about it not being valid and you see that the game isn't in their library, they receive their tradable game back from you and then they activate the key later? this specific type of a trade is never safe at all, even with a middleman. I believe the person with the key in these trades is obligated to always go first because that trader can't prove the key is valid even with proof of purchase, perhaps it could have been activated already. This is how I assume steam keys work, please correct me if I'm wrong
you see, if the key doesn't work. then i trade the gift back to whomever was supposed to activate the key. simple as that. also you can't lie about the key not being valid as its a one time use thing. usually when you trade for a key you want to instantly use it. i doubt anyone would keep the key for later.
Well, what if the one who recieved the key activates it on another acount (friend's account or another account of his own but somebody is using it for him) The key trader would lose his key and yet give his gift back ! I was thinking of the best way to this safely coz as you know I trade keys regulary :D The best way is that key trader activates the key to the other trader using Team Viewer . And by the way my AMD promo keys are safe for me coz if somebody scammed me for it I would contact Steam support showing them that I am the one that has the official redeem mail and can make them revoke the key and ask another one from AMD :D I only send the mail forward AFTER the other guy confirms it activated on his account fine
Okay, just a simple thread for anyone wanting to have me help you in your trade.
What I will middleman:
I Will middleman Cd Key trades, non-steam and steam, Giftable only, and paypal trades.
What I will NOT middleman:
Webmoney (i don't use web money and so i can't be sure how it works), account trades, and trades where both parties CANNOT agree to the trade.
One thing i hate more than anything else is people who cannot make a decision, before you even try to contact me make sure you agree to the trade before the trade actually happens.
Why pick me to middleman? Well I'm friendly and fair, and if everything goes right a trade can usually happen in a few minutes.
