He was trying to scam you by giving you a deal that was too good to be true. Not the other way around
I got definitive edition, search it up. 20 bucks, and 11 euro on g2a, and doom full all dlc is 15 euro on g2a, and I got a accouint with 10 euro on g2a and was giving him that too, so it was like me giving him 6 euro profit!

Try installing Enhanced steam in chrome it shows up steamrep in case he's scammer or banned..
funny thing... i had that guy blocked for quite some time ( months and months i think ) and i keep seeing his profile all over.

Recently, I was going to make a trade with this lovely gentleman when I was added by a certain user claiming to be him. Here is the chat transcript where he scammed be out of a measly $5. Fortunately my bank is already on top of that. Also he forgot to claim the humble gift link! Woops!

So I just added a guy, and we were about to trade, I had the higher value stuff Dead island riptide definitive edition all dlc and 11 euros on g2a and he was giving me doom, and dead island sells for 10 euros, meaning it was like me giving him 7 euros profit. He seemed hasty and tried to do the trade quick and easy, and when I fished around brining values together I told him I did not want to trade as my stuff was higher value, and he calls me a scammer for declining the trade, then I show him screenshots and goes silent.
