It should also be noted they had very little stock, and sold out in the first thirty minutes, so the market is not exactly teeming with them

Actually, the funny thing is that most stores like Best Buy and Wal-Mart honor price matching. If Toys-R-Us is sold out, then try going to one of the big chain stores and asking if they price match. Usually a talk with the manager will get the stubborn (read: dumb) employees to budge.
So if the TRU is sold out, there are many other ways to obtain the game. The Torchlight 2 for your Diablo 3 offer above honestly should have been a more than great (not saying fair) trade.
Best Buy placed a memo down from corporate pretty quickly saying that they won't price-match the Toys R' Us deal (though they did for about a day).
Wal-Mart, Target, and the like do not match in-store prices, nor have they ever. Only advertised prices, which these were not.
So, I'm sorry: you may want these games to be worth $10, but TRU selling a tiny handful of them for $10 does not bring down all the prices across the entire market.
Yea, I actually just had several friends go to various stores and had the prices honored at the big chains. It's all about luck.
I know it's frustrating that this information is floating around for games you want to profit off of, but don't knock on the knowledge provided.

This is not rep, but only unmoderated comments. Every scammer have them, so you shouldn't mislead ppl. Free bump.
I am not misleading anyone, nearly everyone considers +rep comments on steam profile as counting towards a person's reputation.
True, it's not as viable as steamtrades rep, since there are never any negatives (because comments can be deleted), but other sites also have non-negative rep systems, like TF2outpost. Scammers can fake +rep in their steam-profiles, but they can also fake +rep on steamtrades and every other site as well, so in all cases you should check who's actually giving the +reps.
So, please don't make it sound like 125 +rep in my profile is meaningless. It's not.
IMO all amount of Steam profile rep is meaningless. My friend was scammed by somebody with dozen pages of reps.
Also TF2Outpost rep is meaningless too, which confirm even their admins.
Steamtrades system can be abused, but support is permanently banning every symptom of it, so it's more reliable, but not perfect.
