It shouldn't be too difficult for Valve to remove our items from the scammer's account (or associated accounts) and return them to us.
Be sure to submit a Steam Support ticket.
Already submited a ticket, hope they take a moment to read all the reports about him D:
"Hello, Thank you for contacting Steam Support. Your CD Key for this game has been revoked at the request of the publisher. You will need to contact the seller for further assistance. Let us know if you have any further questions or concerns."
Very helpful... not. Shall I submit a new ticket? I don't think they understood the first one.
Update: A new friend of mine gifted me the game... still can't believe it.
Srslyrly: they wont do anything. I already asked them. They wont revoke the items as you agreed to trade it to him was what they told me.
Yea I asked them, cause they don't protect against CD key trades they won't help... So we all just lost out, and although the account got banned I'm sure he just transferred the stuff to a main ACC, so he didn't get punished either.
This guy traded me a Planetary Annihilation Early Access key for my Trainz Simulator + Origins Games, i know the trade was too good to be true, but i still made it because i wanted to try that game D:
Today the game was removed from steam and i inmediately tried to talk with him in a polite way to tell him about the key problem, but he after my normal "Hi", he removed me from his friend list, blocked me and changed his name... very stupid thing because i already have his SteamID64 D:
The past ID was LARSSONIZACIJAAAAA, but he soon changed it to Keradera123 after i tried to talk to him in the steamchat D:
In his steamtrade profile you can see that many users already started to -rep for doing the same scam D:
Beware of this guy, if he offer you a Planetary Annihilation or any other early access key just say "NO" D:
