Hello there! I looked further for more info about that and it seems that it can not be gifted and the only way to activate it is to link your Humble Bundle account with your Epic account.
But let me know if you have different information about that.
I don't have any other info that conflicts with what you said, linking an Epic account with your HB account is the only way to get this game, sorry to say. I'm not even sure yet if it'll reveal an EGS key for that game once you link an EGS account or if it redeems itself automatically, and I don't have enough interest in the Epic Game Store to find out.
Edit: I had a look at the instructions HB provides on redeeming EGS keys, and it seems as though you're given a key to redeem on the EGS Launcher once an account has been linked. Edit #2: Never mind, it turns out I didn't see the very next section of the article I linked, which goes into detail about direct one-click redemptions for games on the Epic Games Store.
Yeah, unfortunately, it seems like there's no other way, other than you activating it on an Epic account of yours or one of us giving our account credentials to the other person, which is not a good option.
I guess you can try and activate it on an Epic account of yours and see if it will give an extra key or something.

I highly doubt it'll give an extra key upon redemption, so I'm afraid I'm stuck at an impasse that I can't overcome here. It doesn't help that I'm hesitant to create an Epic account because I like having all of my games readily accessible on Steam. Anyways, I apologize for taking up your time, have a nice night.
Edit: Screw it, I'll create an Epic account just so I can fulfill my curiosity about whether it's a key you have to redeem on the launcher or if it's a direct one-click redemption. I'll keep you updated in this thread as I find out more.

Too bad for the game. Though Humble Bundle and Epic should work out a way for these games to be given to another person. They are aware that no one would really buy a whole bundle just for themselves, but rather share it with a friend or two.
Still, maybe you could message Epic and Humble Bundle, saying that you personally do not want the game, but rather give it to a friend and see if any of them can offer you a solution. Seeing you have only activated it but did not play it.

Hey, not really. Generally I'd prefer something from the game stores/bundle sites like Humble Bundle, Fanatical, Eneba etc.
I put that option, in case there's a bundle I am interested in or a cheap game. I do look for bundle split price of games, so if the most common price for a game was $0.50 I wouldn't accept that for a $3.00 game.
Amazon gift card would be nice if there was something I wanted from there at a certain price.
From current bundles I am interested in Humble Burn Rubber Bundle and more specifically in tier 3. But I don't see how would that work here.
