I prefer you use the keys immediately to add to your account, I won't be held responsible if your key doesn't work in 6-12months, check it now by adding it to your account, some keys can expire or publishers can revoke licenses for unused keys.
But don't worry about me using your key if you hold onto it for a while, once I give someone a key I delete it from my records and don't attempt to use it or re-trade it.
