You can get 2 cents for one on the Steam market if you wait a couple of months.

Not really, the 0.02 cents is the fee you have to pay to STEAM, so you are giving it away for free and is a very small chance if not impossible to get more than 0.02 :D .

Just think about it: why do you have 18 copies? do other people maybe also have 18 copies (or even a lot more)? what do you think is a game worth, that everybody gets free from valve? i dont even play the game. i tried it once, and valve already gifted me like 30-40 copies now. many people even delete their dota's. think about it. ;)
