Yeah, there's an advert in the bottom corner that cycles through various DLC. And there's locked campaigns and robes that take you to the steam store when you click on them.
Thanks for the info. that is the sort of thing that ruins a game for me. Unless it is 'free' to play. I'm not knocking such games, I'm just saying I find them grossly unappealing. Xbox Live has lost me from dashboard clusters of adverts.
Ah, understandable. Don't let it stop you from picking it up in the future though. The whole collection is pretty cheap when it goes 75% off and with it you wouldn't have to deal with all the adverts :P

edited: when I say turmoil, it's bad. Someone couldn't give me an Origin game. EA has proven what they would be like if they made it to the top. Origin would give them even more control eventually.

There have been some wonderful offers, but I live in an odd household. I can't tell if we're indecisive or divided, but the problem is not with most of these offers.
