As I expected, a little over a month later it would be foolish to get a copy of Dark Souls II instead of Scholar of First Sin. It would cost more to upgrade Dark Souls II to the Scholar of First Sin edition ($30) than to buy it outright on Steam ($25). As the sale prices become more common, original versions of Dark Souls II will diminish even more in value.
