After looking them up on steam, seems to me like they have 2 imposters. That's most likely who you dealt with. Anything's possible, but I really doubt they would do this.

Most likely that was an imposter. Much of the time, a copy profile of a well repped trader that is set to private is a scammer. They take advantage of the real trader guy or gal being trusted by numerous people. Just take extra caution when trading and research profiles. Just take it step by step. He added you and you're not sure who he is. An alarm should go off then and there. Question everything. Better be safe than scammed. I'm not one for talking for a person, but guessing since the real mit guy has hundereds of games he really doesn't need to steal your games (no offense :P).

Send in a Steam Support ticket if you really want to do something about it. Also, get screenshots and report to SteamRep if possible.
Reported him via Steam for the given issue. And what do you mean by report to SteamRep. Ill report this to whoever will get this taken care of. I just dont want people like him lurking and doing this to others.
