Hi. Crap to hear that you got ripped, whilst there isn't much you can do at the moment. You CAN report it to steam, and see what they can do. If you are able to prove any part of what happened and the agreement between you guys, the very minimum that would happen is that he would get a temp ban or something. If you haven't any of this, remember for future trades to keep a printscreen/record of what is being agreed to - most of the time, Steam will save the last few conversations in the conversation window for you, so you can copy that. You should also be able to check your trade history and it will show you when you bought the item, and when you traded it and who you traded it to. So you should be able to prove that part at least. Problem is that without proof of what was agreed on, all you really have is the fact that he blocked you as proof of him trying to scam, etc. I doubt it would get far, but at least give it a shot. Also, check steamrep.com before trading with anyone, they'll let you know if the profile has been associated with scams, etc, beforehand. Hope this helps a little.
At least try to report him on steamrep, maybe you can save others from being scammed by this guy...

He added me yesterday saying he saw my offer for $20 for CiV, Don't Starve and Oblivion, and said he had them a 2 keys and a gift. I told him I would do it but to be safe to let me see his profile first. He then deleted me and blocked me.
Damn me too. Was only 10GBP but im gutted.
Was in a rush so didn't do my reasearch.

Btw, this guy has more than one profile with the same name. only way is if steam bans his ip for good or something. i think he's a pro at scamming or something, took him a week to get me....
everybody see that this guy on your postet steamtradelink is not the scammer. You guys need to learn first the basics of a trade 1. 99.99% off all closed Profile are scammers 2. every idiot can take over a other Name in 5 sec. thats the point why you have to check his Steamnamechanges http://puu.sh/4fx5y.jpg (to many different names = 99.99% Scammer) 3. also check his id http://puu.sh/4fx8A.jpg on http://steamrep.com/ 4.let him post here some comment thats the only way you be sure that the guy who talk with you, is the guy with that Profile and rep. All this points make you not 100% safe but are a good Basic for everyone who would like to trade.

this guy keep changing his name. he took my tomb raider game key but his name was different. showed me the other guy reputation on Steamtrade which he even used his display picture. I didn't think much when I made the trade. I reported him though.
Yesterday (August 4) I made a post about how I needed steam keys for the Payday 2 Beta. A profile named Fawil responded, saying he had some and he messaged and friended me on steam. Blindly I walked into the situation and bought him the game Final Fantasy 7. Waiting for his end of the bargain, he suddenly went offline after I gifted the game to him and blocked all communications with me. I lost 12 dollars and didn't get my 2 payday beta codes as promised. Life sucks sometimes huh? Is there anything I can do to get my money back or the game or something?
