He scammed me too but I didn't really lose much. Nothing suspicious about our trade, I gave him bundle keys for a cheap tradable game - 1-2 weeks later it was removed from my inventory.
Do they notify you when a game is removed? Cos how would you notice, unless you memorised your inventory(or library for that matter?)
I don't believe steam notifies people when a game is forcibly removed from there library.
Damn, then who knows if I've been scammed. I can't remember all 250+ games, and I haven't got time to play them until next year. :/ You think you'd be warned about such things, so you can appeal them just in case. :(
No I didn't get a notification. Just noticed that one game disappeared from my inventory, but it didn't take very long to figure out which one because I keep track of what comes in and what goes out. Actually I keep a list outside of Steam of the games in my inventory.^^
No point in contacting Steam support though. I gave him CD-keys and have no way to prove that I traded with him (didn't keep a screenshot of our chat). I doubt Steam would take action in this case anyway.
And I only gave bundle keys so my loss is rather insignificant.
PayPal denied my dispute and Steam won't give me my games back either. Where can I go from here?
