How do you know this? I mean the reported scammer? This guy used a + rep user here on Steamgifts (http://www.steamgifts.com/user/EnemyWithin) so I thought he was trustworthy. Turned out he was just impersonating his nickname and I failed to look up his aliases before the trade :-/
So, I already learned to have people comment here so I can check out their real steam profile and also their used aliases to check for any weird name changes in the past days etc.
What else can I do? Is there a reported scammer list somewhere? Also, should I always use a trade (wait for the gift to be tradeable) instead of sending first (sending second would be fine I guess)? Thanks :)
1.) The guy already reported many times on steamrep.

2.) I'm using Enhanced Steam so I can see this on his profile.
3.) When you go here http://www.steamgifts.com/user/**** you can click on visit steam profile button, and the two profile won't match.
4.) With Enhanced Steam you can instantly open somebody steamgifts page, so you can see if it is match or not.
Btw why are using alt account for trading? You played with your game in 2011 last time and only have 1 hours on record.

I already figured out 1) - 4) unfortunately too late for the first scammer :/ but it`s fine I guess (got to learn it somehow).
You won't believe it, but it's not my alt account :D I just didn't play much (or anything) on Steam for a long time.
