There is yet another impersonator of mine, who tries to scam people.

Please block that guy: http://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561197963588791

that is what his profile currently looks like: http://puu.sh/g6Kaz/09b70baf71.jpg

a pretty poor impersonation, if you ask me. he also impersonates other traders (just check his name history).

if you want to trade with me, please remember:

  • my profile is always public
  • i have ~2800 games
  • i have 90 pages of comments on my profile

HOW TO TRADE PROPERLY:

  • someone adds you and says he wants to trade with you.
  • he links you to his Steamgifts profile, which looks good (lots of +rep).
  • before you do anything you check his profile yourself.
  • in chat select "View Steam profile" (or click his profile picture)
  • then right-click his profile page and select "Copy uage URL"
  • paste this URL in your browser
  • i hope you have Enhanced Steam installed (browser plugin). if not, install it right now!
  • with Enhanced Steam enabled, you can go directly to his (real) Steamgifts profile: http://puu.sh/g6L4K/ef5cc8f053.jpg
  • also check his Steamrep page.
  • if his profile doesn't match the profile he gave you, or he is marked on Steamrep, he is a scammer and you should report and block him immediately.
  • Bam! scam prevented! :)

i would appreciate if you bumped this thread, thanks. :)

of course it's not the victims fault. he didn't know better. as you can see, he is 0/0. he is probably a beginner. that doesn't mean he is stupid. what is it with you people? why do you always attack the victim of a scam as much as possible? stupid, dumb, naive! the scammer doesn't get nearly as much hate from you guys as the victim. something is clearly wrong with you. if someone gets scammed, the scammer is the bad guy. not the victim.
