User Vladik753 (Steam ID)has apparently scammed at least 2 users. His 2 most recent reps have been negative, the traders stating that the copies of Starbound that he had traded them have been removed from their respective accounts. He also closed all three of his threads soon after receiving the negative rep.

In response, Vladik753 has return -rep'd them with the same exact copy-paste response, accusing them of scamming him.

I am not an involved party in either of these scams, but I thought I should post this as a warning and to be cautious when dealing with him.

EDIT: Make that 6 Users now.

Thanks, I pointed out to the guy that there was a 2 thread per user limit in one of his 3 threads, he started insulting me when I informed him, then his rep started dropping and he closed all of his threads. Though something was fishy, so I dug deeper and found what I posted above. Word of mouth is the only way to stop scammers.

I traded with him 3 week ago. Now my Starbound was removed from account.
He is really Scammer! I give him -1 point, and he give me -1 point too! It's so bad! :(

I'm relatively new here, but does this site have a procedure in place to deal with negative rep that has been given by those who are obviously scammers?

This sticky-thread.

Near the bottom. You have to go through SteamGifts, but it's the standard recourse for cases like this.

Can someone explain why the items are actually removed from the respective accounts? Just out of curiosity?

Valdik753 buys games using fraudulent credit card, Humble gives him the game (Humble Store gift link probably), he trades the link for keys or whatever the scammed users traded, Humble revokes game after finding out the credit card is fraudulent, pulling the game directly from the user's account.

Been happening more recently with humble bundles themselves more recently as well.

Oh okay thanks for the warning. This is actually pathetic though. Will think twice before trading for anything from the humble bundle.

Yeah. Good rule to live by, "If the deal looks too good to be true, it usually is."
