Hello guys, wanted to inform you about a recent bug regarding the Metro: LL gifts. Yesterday all the Standard versions of Metro: LL turned into Metro: LL Complete Edition, you can't buy the Standard edition anymore in the shop. As many of you guys I thought it was a "free upgrade", when I started a thread on the Metro LL communityhub I soon got confronted with the fact that the Metro: LL Complete Edition is NOT the "Complete Edition". At first everything seemed fine, problems came when someboday asked the following question: "I have Metro LL Standard edition already in my Library, do I get the "free upgrade" too?". after some minutes someone else responded with "I don't have the DLC's but I have the standard edition in my library". This morning somebody commented the following: "I just redeemed a gift that said it was the Complete edition and I don't seem to have any DLC listed under properties in the library. Anyone else having same?"
The problem here is the following: Deep silver probably updated the store page but instead of making a seperate kind of gift the "complete edition" logo was put on the standard edition gifts too. I don't know if the description on the gifts are different but as of now the standard edition gifts are really misleading and can't be distinguished from the complete edition ones. I suggest you not buying any complete edition gifts if you expect the DLC to be in it. I hope the problem will be solved soon.
