Can I ask you a question - why? Because I can't see a reason how current steam gifts could be better for trade than key/giftlinks.
Unless you're looking for old steam gifts, the ones you could keep in inventory and trade with anyone. But these are very rare, and getting such for the game you want is close to impossible... and still these are not much better than key/giftlink (admitedly their only advantage is you could trade them through steam without risk of being scammed)
