Want Grav for blackguards and chivalry? Both were available for lower tier recently.
Trine 3 was a first time BTA level key. when it was in the last Humble. There is no way it's worth a key as that would make the entire BTA tier 3 keys easy from that bundle. Market was flooded. Maybe in a couple of months it will be a key value if there is no sale or rebundle.
Well, right now it worth more than a key, as the rest of that BTA is considered lesser.
I can collect various examples of OTHER people using that price quote.

Just to get it straight - You were expecting to get Trine 3 for either Chivalry (1 of 3 from 1$ tier) or Blackguards?
A bundle game is a bundle game once it is bundled. And yes I was expecting to trade one of my games for one of yours.
And just to get it straight, you were expecting to get a key ($2.50 value) for Trine 3 from a bundle with a Tier 1 and BTA of 7 games and the BTA price was $6 (so $0.85 per key when split)?
BTA was 4 games not 7 (Trine 3, Doorkickers, Duet, Forced).
The split doesn't have and most likely isn't even. The first two clearly worth more than the latter two.
Regardless. By your measures, Chivalry is worth 0.33 as it was in the 1$.
Even if I take your crooked measure (6$ BTA => 1.25$ per game when removing Tier 1) you should give me both games
(Blackguards is part of a huge bundle with upper tier of 8.11$ for 4 games on top of a middle tier worth 5.61$ - making it worth much less than 1$).
BTW - By that calculation Grav being in HB monthly and another BTA with about 7$ average for 5 games has same value.
So yeah - if you calculate by YOUR method definitely 2:1 in that case.
You never remove Tier 1 when you split price, I know many steam split groups which refuse to consider that as it devalues the Tier 1 games to shit which is what you are doing to me now. Also to call my math crooked over disagreeing with methodology, I personally take offense with that.
Also for Grav, once a games is bundled twice, value hits the fan as the market is flooded and prices go down as supply is rampant. Go study a High School Economic class in Adam Smith's free market economy,.

The only thing that devalues a game is supply. Grav is indeed in higher supply, but not extremely high.
Trine is in short supply, very short and in high demand - So it is priced accordingly.
People do pay more than a key.
Regarding tier #1 - I am a member of 2 group buy groups.
Both require you to take off the 1$ of tier 1 before splitting and allow uneven splits.
The reason is simple. Everyone can do teh 1$ tier - Bundling it and splitting BTA over that tier too devalues the BTA.
I put the money in the BTA on top of the cheap tier 1. Why should I devalue it so?
