Hello. I'm the "scammer", or rather, the unfortunate honest guy your douchebag scammer impersonated. I've posted warnings about him all over my trading profiles. Do you still have the guy in your friends list, or do you have any trace in your browser history that could give us the guy's Steam profile to obtain his permalink? He needs to be reported on Steamrep.com ASAP before he makes more victims.

From the other scam report I got on my profile, here are the names that the guy used. I wasn't able to find his profile by googling him so far:

Also to protect yourself in the future, learn how to find and compare people's Steam profile permalink. Mine is http://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198014383949

Even if people change their name that number stays the same. You're supposed to compare that number between the profile of the guy who's speaking to you and the guy who he says he is, BEFORE trading...

I recommend to everyone to install https://www.enhancedsteam.com/ as that adds a lot of useful links to Steam users' profiles, including said permalink, and the link to their REAL steamtrades.com profile.

Here's another report about the same scammer: https://forums.steamrep.com/threads/report-76561197968068718-none-no-items.156470/
You can even see that at the moment of the report his username and custom url were still matching mine! But you can find his real profile by clicking the numerical URL, it leads here: http://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561197968068718
I've reported the little bastard to Steam, hopefully we can stop his scamming spree.
